We had an amazing stay here! What a hidden gem for us tourists from Los Angeles! Room was incredible , staff was excellent , spa was amazing, and they even had an organized hike! We really couldn't believe this is a three star hotel because the only thing 3 star was the reasonable price!

We have stayed at Hotel San Giacomo for the last 3 years in February and our experience has only gotten better each time. We love this place. Our children are now 8 and 10 and there are so many things for kids to do. Magico Camillo is extremely entertaining for kids, even small, and my ten year old still loves him. We have gone from Monday to Friday each time because school is closed. Almost every night there is some activity to do and there have always been lots of kids when we are there. The ski slopes are very close. We take our car but it's a just down the road. The food is amazing! We do mezza pensione which includes breakfast and dinner. There is a small fridge in the room and we we use it to put sandwich meats so that we can do something simple for lunch and not eat out every day. The rooms are very clean. The spa is great. There are two saunas, two turkish saunas, an outdoor heated pool/jacuzzi and lots of beds to sleep on and rest. Access to the main spa is 14 euros a person for our stay but you can still access two of the saunas and the beds without paying for the bracelet to enter. There is a pool and our kids play in it for hours in the afternoon after we have been skiing in the morning. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful for all of our needs. The atmosphere at the hotel is lovely and I would love to keep going back!

We just came back 10 minutes ago from this peace of Paradise, the location, the quality of the rooms and the food is just amazing. What we liked the most is the type and the quality of customer service very genuine, gentle and with not too pressure. We just felt like home with the same freedom. We will definitely go back and make sure we'll spread around the voice about this place. Many Thanks to the SPA team very professional.

If you wanna a real break, don't waste your time contact Hotel San Giacomo.

Make sure you get in the renewed rooms, unless you want to spare some €€€, then the to-be-renewed rooms are cheaper. Nice and relaxing environment, and great restaurant. Get the half pension and go hiking on mount Baldo. The hotel is almost at the beginning of a couple of easy trails up to "rifugio altissimo" ~2000m above sea level. A 100Kg guy with screws in a knee can do them. Just get some decent boots.
In the right season you are likely to see buzzards marmots chamois an roes on the trails.
At least I saw them. The hotel is an extended family business and the extended family is very nice.

Room tip: Renewed room are good looking, and pretty peculiar. Each one is different from the others so maybe ask the guys at the reception about that.

Nice hotel with kind and professional staff.
Family managed business.
The restaurant is worth the visit alone.
If you need a break to recharge your batteries, go there.
Good for ski trips and wellness stuff.

Room tip: Talk to the staff :)
