We spent 4 nights at this B&B and can honestly say we have never stayed in a more friendly, welcoming and attractive house. The hosts Gill and Bill can't do enough for their guests and the whole ambience of their lovely house makes one feel relaxed and at ease. The rooms are kept spotlessly clean and the bedrooms are decorated to an incredibly high standard, even boasting underfloor heating in the bathrooms. Each room opens onto a balcony overlooking the Moray Firth where the views just take your breath away.Waking up to a view like this each morning is priceless. The lovely garden below the balcony backs onto the beach at the waters edge and is so pleasant and relaxing to sit in.The breakfast offered is perfect, with a large number of options available and is delicious, setting you up for the day ahead. There have been many nice things written about The Waters Edge but none of them can truly do it justice, the experience was outstanding and unforgettable.

Room Tip: All the rooms are of an equally high standard and boast the same high quality.

This B&B has two lovely hosts, with magnificent views over the Moray Firth. We stayed for 5 nights, touring Scotland by car using this as a base. We were able to come and go as we pleased as we had our own key to the front door. Breakfast was fabulous. The rooms were clean and tidy with gorgeous views. TV not so good as not many channels, but we hardly used it. Bathroom was very spacious, but needs more shelving. Toilet paper was "hard" so we bought our own, did not mention this as it seemed a little petty.
Overall a really nice friendly stay.

Room Tip: You do not need help as all rooms view over the Moray Firth and have en suite.

We spent 2 nights at this small B&B overlooking the Moray Firth. Our light and airy room opened onto a large balcony as did our spacious bathroom, you could also sit in the freestanding bath and gaze at the view! There was also a separate shower, underfloor heating, all the toilettries one could imagine and then more! Nothing was too much trouble for the delightful hosts, Gill and Bill. We were directed to the best 2 restaurants in the village just a 10 minute stroll away. Bill served us an excellent breakfast with all the usual choices plus fresh fruits, yogurts etc.
If you are looking for minimalism then maybe this would not be your choice, every nook and cranny contained something either decorative or useful. Having said that, for the warmth of welcome, the breakfasts and the views this place could not be bettered.

Room Tip: Room one has the freestanding bath

This is by far the best b & b we have experienced. There was a warm welcome and help with our bags. The location is wonderful and the room was beautifully presented. There were double doors opening onto a balcony with views across the water. Great attention to detail in every respect. Would thoroughly recommend!

Stayed for two nights this weekend.
A fantastic stay. The room was just lovely with a fantastic en-suite, modern with great walk in shower and a lovely bath, underfloor heating and spacious. Everywhere was immaculate, lovely touches such as little chocolates, bottled water, great selection tea and a chiller fridge all in the room. The bed was so comfortable. For me though the terrace outside the bedroom overlooking the water just topped the weekend. The gardens are so nice to look at , well designed and interesting. Take a walk along the beach, look at the house from the water.
Have dinner at The Anderson walk there and back.
The breakfast was lovely and Bill and Gill could not do enough, whilst at the same time giving the guests space. A must is a few trips to Channory Point to see the dolphins, check the tide times and Bill will tell you the best time to go, no guarantee but worth it.
We will definitely stay again.
Look forward to hearing when the eggs hatch !
We had a relaxing and wonderful weekend.
Thank you.

Room Tip: All three rooms look amazing but next time I will try for Room 1, however Room 2 was amazing too, ba...

Stayed here fri-sun in April. Fantastic views. Bill and Gill fantastic hosts, couldn't do enough for us :) Breakfast excellent, good choices. Highly recommend this nice wee B 'n' B. Plenty information, in the welcome letter, regarding where to eat for an evening meal. All in all a very pleasant and relaxing weekend. Will be back :)

From the moment we arrived on the doorstep at Waters Edge, nothing was too much trouble. Bill and Gill are quite possibly the nicest 2 people on the planet. We booked the room on Gills recommendation that the bathroom overlooks the Moray Firth... she wasn't wrong. I wallowed for soooo long in that beautiful tub that I almost grew fins!!
The room was immaculate, the fresh flowers dotted in tiny vases throughout the accommodation gave the place a heavenly scent.
Breaksfast?? Make sure you have time, they don't scrimp... and I'm glad, it was delicious, hearty and set us up every day, we are still giggling about being offered whisky, cream and local honey just for the porridge! On the subject of Whiskey...Bill thank you for the lesson, Tony is a convert and is costing me a 'wee' fortune in the purely medicinal stuff!
I know I'm drooling, but the Waters Edge truly deserve this accolade, I almost don't want to write this as you will visit and I may not get booked in for my return journey.
Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy!!

Room Tip: the one with the huge tub...
