I recently travelled once again to one of my most favourite countries on earth, Turkey. I wanted something a little different and being an Aussie and having visited the Gallipoli battlefield on Anzac Day as well as on other occasions I wanted to offer my friends something a bit different.
I was referred to this guy 'Roachie' who has been passionate about Gallipoli and Turkey for many years. He has a small hobby company that takes budding watercolour artist such as us. We not only visited and received his passionate take on the tragic battle that raged there but because of his incredible knowledge of the are offered us vistas and locations to paint a testament to this amazingly beautiful area.
He only does this as a hobby and receives as much satisfaction out of taking people there as his clients.
We've extended our stay as newfound friends to take in the many wineries of the Gallipoli Peninsula.
A wonderful experience!
