I would like to thank the windmill restaurant for a awesome Sunday lunch/afternoon.
We had Sunday lunch there on the 15th of July 2012 and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there, the chicken livers we had for starters was done to perfection.
The Sunday lunch was extremely well prepared with fresh vegetables that was
divinely spiced just right, making it superbly enjoyable.
The roast beef and chicken done to a T, the chicken was soft and moist inside yet gently crisp on the outside, perfectly done, just like roast chicken aught to be done !!
The roast beef was on par with the chicken and was accompanied by a very delicious sauce and roast potatoes, only they would know how they did it, to perfection.
Our Waiter Charl ( blonde one, as there are two Charl’s ) took care of us
like we where a king and queen.
The manager also took time to personally come by and greet us,
making us feel right at home.
All of this toped by shopping at the next door “Jasmyn plaas stal” ,
with fresh produce; meat and imported goodies of highest standard.
The variety is phenomenal, and best of all, they even have a
book store upstairs with books on just about anything.
Plus a very good selection of DVD’s and music CD’s to purchase.
Across the road is a little shopping centre with a shop named “Luxurious chocolates”
A true and definitive must for any choc-o-holic, greeted with a small chocolaty treat,
to a shop filled with Belgium and Swiss chocolate, and many more… too much to mention
Thanks to all involved in making our Sunday outing most enjoyable…
