I will recommend this hotel for travelers who place location as the top priority.

Good about this premise:
1) location - strategically located near to (400m) Aizu Wakamatsu main train and bus station.
2) convenience - abundant f&b options (Japanese food restaurant, pub/izakaya, fast food) within the walking distance (around 1km radius)
3) staff service - despite not able to speak fluent English, staff is able to communicate effectively; their eagerness to help makes travelers felt welcome
4) facilities is sufficient - being a business hotel, this premise also serve leisure travelers well with its in-house restaurant, vending machines, paid self-serviced laundry room and even a wedding planning facility.

The only downside of this premise is that it is away from the attractions. Hence, one would have to board the city loop bus at the main train/bus station.

The hotel is located very near to the train and inter-city bus station. It's just about 3 min of walk. However, that's not where the attractions (e.g. Castle) are. To go to the attractions, you need to take the tourist loop bus from the train station. Restaurants are close to the attractions too, not the hotel. There are really not much to see and eat near the hotel. The hotel seems to be quite old. The room almost feels like the 1980s. The air condition is not working too.

This was a good hotel for business and leisure travelers. The hotel building is just few minutes walk from the train station. The large logo of the hotel is clearly visible from distance on the top of the building. The restaurant on the top floor has a very well laid breakfast and efficient staff members. The size of room was compact like other similar hotels. The rooms did not have individual temperature control so guests might find a bit difficult if the temperature in the room is not adjustable. There was no wardrobe or clothes hanging bar area. Just a few hooks on wall for clothes hanger.

Room tip: If you are a non-smoker, make sure to request room on non-smoking floor, when making reservation.

The hotel is very close to the train station which makes it easy to get around. There are a few dining options close to the hotel and a convenience store. The room is small, normal by Japanese standards. But it is very clean and tidy. The breakfast is hearty for the Japanese style, in case you do not like Japanese food you will have a problem.

I have wrote review of this hotel in 2015. I am not reading it to not to be influenced by myself ;-)

This is a typical hotel for Japan. Rooms are relatively small. Bathroom comes from the same plastic module like in many other hotels.

There is a restaurant on the top floor and it has a nice night-view (the breakfast view is not too great... if you go there you will learn what I mean.... ;-)

Breakfast is good. It also has large enough number of items for someone who is not into Japanese food to not to be hungry.

Hotel is also 10 minute walk form the Train and Bus stations -- no need to TAXI to it.

Supermarket is 5 minute walk away.

Room tip: top floors for view....
