We took this tour from our hotel in Buggiba, picked up by minibus to the car ferry at Cirkewwa and crossed to the harbour at Moarr on Gozo. There we met the party of jeeps for the day tour. There were about six or seven people on each jeep and about 10 jeeps. The driver/guide was very helpful, we had a map of the route of the tour and set off on the trek. Many stops for photo shots and information on route. We stopped for a nice lunch about 1.0 PM and continued for another two hours before returned to the harbour to catch a speedboat back via the Blue Lagoon at Comino Island and then back to Moarr where we met up with the minibus back to the hotel for 5.0 PM. Its the only way to see most of Gozo in a day and a very nice day out, recommended. I have a video on my youtube channel John Carling(guitarman3079),

A party of 15 of us recently took the Jeep Treasure Hunt with Gozo Pride Tours and found it an absolutely delightful, entertaining day and a novel way of seeing something of the island. We slightly customised the usual organisation by having the jeeps chauffeur driven rather than drive ourselves and the drivers were fun, friendly and extremely informative. We were supposed to take a powerboat transfer from Malta to and from the island, but bad weather intervened. Joseph dealt with this in an extremely professional way, combining a minibus journey with a shortened powerboat trip so that we still got "to sea" but in comfort. Lunch in a most attractive restaurant was also laid on, where the food was of a very good quality at a very reasonable price. As a bonus, the service certainly came with a smile! Personally, I cannot rate this company more highly.

We could spend several weeks enjoying the really ideal island of Gozo......but as that was not possible on this trip ,a day on Pride Jeep Tours is the way to go.
Morris was our driver and was all around the perfect guide. He was totally accommodating , jovial, and informative.
The tour brings one to all the attractions off the beaten track that the "hop on /off " bus tours can not ( they are to be avoided...... More on them later )......just one caveat that we mentioned to Morris was the lunch option which did not offer the option of sitting on the gorgeous cove and soaking up the sun, which we did ,opting out of
the in town indoors restaurant. Otherwise the review would have been A+ !

This was an excellent treat. We were able to see many parts of this beautiful island in a day. The quads were easy to get the hang of and were exciting to ride without feeling too dangerous. We rode over rough tracks and roads (almost deserted) covering all the main visitor sites as well as places off the beaten track. (we covered 71km in the day!) We were certainly the envy of the people who were on jeep safari tours or bus tours. Make sure that you are protected against the sun as even in April it was quite strong. The pick up from hotel and transfer from the ferry all went without hitch and our guide was pleasant and informative. Lunch was OK - using the same restaurant as the rest of the island tours so just a quick turn around. The food was tasty and staff hard working. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to see Gozo and are not afraid to try something a little different. Remember to take your driving license, payment in cash and you need to be over 25!

I would not recommend this tour to anyone wishing to see Gozo as it is a big tourist trap. I went with my husband and we were squashed onto a jeep which was already seating 2 other couples. Our complaints went unnoticed as we were basically told to put up with the situation but it was clearly not what we had expected. At the first stop we were still fuming with the crowded small jeep we had been put on to even take any notice of the view to Comino. Moments later the guide announced to the group he had some bad news. He had to go and collect a girl from the buggy tour as she was pregnant which meant there would be more cramming of the jeeps. This was enough of a shamble so we asked for our money back but the guide was very reluctant. Another couple started demanding a solution to the overcrowding as well. The guide called his boss to come and help sort out the situation. We ended up getting another jeep and driving it ourselves, still following the group. At this point we thought the day might get better but with a lunch provided which is totally awful how could it get any better. Lunch is upstairs in a sweat box, run down restaurant serving budget food which I didn't eat as I was worried I would get sick. If you go on this tour, skip the lunch and go down to the waterfront which you pass just before arriving at crap restaurant.
I think Gozo might be best explored independently as we had trouble finding a decent tour company and it looks like there are plenty of the same tour groups offering poor quality tours of the island.
