Julie is such a great host. She goes the extra mile to make one feel at home- The location is quiet and relaxing, bedrooms spacious, and breakfasts a treat. She couldnt be more helpful in offering us several lifts and offering advice, making reservations, arranging taxis.. We enjoyed the calm of the back garden, with its pool and walking to the beach (though quite a steep one in the heat). The guest house is near the main village square which has a few good restaurants. We loved our week there and hope to return.

Great places to stay are created by great people and Julie Wiltshire, the proprietor of Lellux, certainly qualifies for the title of 'great person'. She turns a very nice property in a very nice location into something great by providing a very welcoming atmosphere and fantastic service.

My two young daughters and I have just returned from a week at Lellux and Julie helped to make it a very special week that will stay in all of our memories for a very long time. She couldn't do enough for us, whether it was arranging a jeep for us to use during the week to blast around the island, fixing contacts with an excellent diving operation (Extra Divers) that got my 11 year old trained and qualified and even my 8 year old under the water, fixing breakfasts outside of normal hours to accommodate early starts, arranging horse riding for the girls with a very good trainer, in addition to loads of other tips and and arrangements that made the three of us wish we were staying another week (at least).

We'll be back!

Room Tip: Any of them. The rooms are great and the service makes them even better.

A wonderful, calm and restful place to stay. Airy and spacious room with equally spacious shower room. Lovely welcoming touches..a bottle of wine, fruit bowl and jar full of cookies (yummy!). Julie is a delightful welcoming host caring and always willing to help with advice if wanted nothing is too much trouble!
A great place to unwind at the end of a hectic school year.
Festa was an experience not to have been missed, great fun!
Very good places to eat locally.
Needed to hire a car for daytime but Julie sorted it within the hour!

Room Tip: Crocodile Rock (nothing to do with Elton John!) was a brilliant room.

What a wonderful place to stay! I can't say enough about this idyllic place to spend your holiday.
The rooms are spotlessly clean, bright, airy and extremely comfortable. Everything has been given so much attention to detail and the place is so homely.
Julie is a wonderful host and here local knowlege makes the stay complete. We will be back again next year! Thank you.

Room Tip: They are all lovely - really!

We stayed for a week in October having stayed here previously and yet again were not disappointed. Accomodation is excellent, very clean and spacious. Breakfast is plentiful with lots of fresh fruit each day, cheeses and meats plus lots more. Breakfast is served outside in the sunshine by the pool.
Julie could not be more helpful from arranging all airport transfers, picking us up from the harbour and answering any questions about the island.
The village is pretty with very good restaurants offering exceptional food and service. If you are looking for a relaxing break we recommend Lellux and why not try one of Julies amazing Spa treatments there for that extra bit of pampering.

We stayed at Lellux for a week's relaxed honeymoon in mid-October and absolutely loved it! We had chosen to stay here because of the excellent reviews on trip advisor and we weren't disappointed.

The accommodation is spacious and comfortable; we had a lovely double-room complete with our own private balcony. The bed was very comfortable and the room clean and tidy. The B&B is very well-situated in the centre of Qala about a minute's walk from the central square where there are several very good restaurants. It is about 20 minutes walk from Hondoq Bay (the closest beach) which is stones rather than sand, but with lovely clear water and a sundeck from which you can jump into the sea, or just enjoy a (rented) sun-lounger. There is also a kiosk cafe serving drinks and good-quality snack food.

As other's have mentioned, the best thing about staying at Lellux is the owner and host, Julie. She was extremely welcoming and exceptionally helpful throughout our stay and before. She had arranged airport transfers for us (including to take us to our first hotel on Malta when we flew in!) and when we asked if we could rent a car at very short notice one evening she had it ready and waiting outside the B&B the following morning. As an aside, I'd really recommend hiring a car at 30 euros a day to explore Gozo - we found some lovely secluded beaches and it made seeing everywhere really easy. She also arranged a boat crossing to the neighbouring island of Comino (for the blue lagoon) and booked us a lovely restaurant in the harbour at Mgarr one evening. It seemed to us that she knew everyone on the island - she certainly has a lot of contacts! As other guests have said, she collected us from the harbour when we arrived and took us back to the ferry when it was (very sadly) time to go home, ensuring we knew exactly where we needed to go.

When there was a really heavy thunderstorm, Julie provided a dvd player so we could watch some 'rainy afternoon' films which she let us borrow! Julie also offers spa treatments - we only had one massage but it was excellent and another facet to the really personal service Julie offers.

Breakfast was provided everyday of course and was delicious with plenty of fresh fruit, cereals, cheese and cold meat. Julie also provided boiled eggs and bacon sandwiches too. It really set us up for the day and we often didn't need to have any lunch.

It can be hard to express all the little touches and experiences which make you feel like a valued guest, but there were plenty: essentially, nothing was too much trouble and we returned feeling extremely rested and relaxed. You can't ask for more than that - thank you Julie.

Hi Guys,
Well, what can I say? Other than I am so happy that I provided you with an honeymoon to remember!
Obviously, I want all my guests to leave Lellux with happy memories, and a piece of Gozo in their hearts, but for honeymooners the responsibility is even greater.
I am more than happy that Gozo and Lellux met with your expectations.
Thank you so very much for your lovely, and heart felt contribution. Hopefully you will spend a few anniversaries here as well!
Hugs to you both
