“Does the job”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2012

We were skeptical when we booked this due to the fact that it was 2*. However, i feel that is was perfect for us. We were only using it as a resting place due to going into Disney Land on the train every day (cheap train fare). The apartment's are not too bad at all. The bed's were comfy and it had all you needed. The were a few downsides for me though. One was that there was no kettle! That can be worked around though by boiling water on the hob. Another thing was that the shower didn't seem to work as well, but that might just be me doing it wrong! Internet was also a big dodgy, even though they specify its free residence wifi. It is only a short 2 min walk to the town center with all the shops, hyper market and train station. Therefore, if you are planning to visit Paris/Disney Land then I would definitely recommend this hotel for families who are looking at a cheaper alternative to staying in a Disney hotel! As the title says, it does the job!

Room Tip: Only the 1st floor have balcony's, and that is only if the room is at the rear of the hotel

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and 4 days for Disneyland Paris! We have been to the area before but not this particular hotel. It was perfect location, as round the corner opposite hotel élysées, there was a free shuttle to the parks and back which was a lot easier than paying for trains! And with it being round the corner to val d'europe shopping centre we had access to food, etc for the room!
The room itself wasn't your glamorous type but just an average room, which was ideal for a trip where you dont spend a lot of time in there anyway, had a good kitchenette, fridge, microwave, etc! It didn't have air con, and it was warm however the windows open very wide and has a fly net over the window too so it was fine!
Overall, we loved our little holiday, and everything was what we needed in a trip :)

we stopped here last weekend in August , check in was very easy and we were allowed to check in three hours early, we had a room on the ground floor Room had one bedroom with a double bed and a big sliding wardrobe, little kitcenette with fridge ,micowave, cupboard with pots, pans ,cups etc, sink. a fold out sofa which becomes a double bed ,tv with only french channels, small table and chairs ,bathroom had bath with a shower over it,sink and mirror, clean towels ,small soap and shampoo provided plenty of hot water as well. we even had a small balcony area too, great at night very quite so able to sleep which was nice after a long day at disney ! apartments are in a fantastic position just around the corner from the val d'euope shopping centre which I would compare to the trafford centre within this is a great supermarket called Auchan yoou can get anything in here ,also lots of places to eat Mcdonalds etc. Train station is a 5 minute walk and the best way to get to disney ,simple purchase a ticket from the machine and there are trains every 10 mins , literally a three minute trip to disney , Serris is a lovely little town I'm only sorry I didnt get to spend more time there ignore the bad reviews if you want great basic accomodation within easy reach of disney then stay here ,excellent value !!

Hotel like what I said is pretty basic but has so much space. Beds comfy and room very clean. What I like about this hotel is the location. Just a station away from Disneyland Paris if you want to avoid expensive hotels in Disney area and is just few steps from a shopping centre and walking distance to la Valle factory shopping outlet where loads of designer shops. Will definitely recommend this apart hotel if youre on a budget.

Stayed here from 12th July - 16th July 2012 whilst going to Disneyland Paris for four days. The Hotel is basically clean with a few worn features in the bathroom area. On arrival we were given a bottle of water, a cake and some tea and coffee; although a kettle is not provided. WiFi is free and a piece of paper with the password should be on the desk under the TV. Microwave did not work very well and we kept having to use the Grill to warm up croissants etc. Check in and check out was easy and the nice lady at the desk managed to check us in almost 3 hours early, which was great so we could go to Disney for the rest of the day. Getting to Disney was easy turn left out of the hotel and walk with the street until you find the Hotel Elyssee. Shuttle 50 is just outside, is free and takes about 5 - 8 mins to get to Disney. It comes quite frequent although stops for a few hours in the afternoon. Go to peps website for timetables. Alternatively the RER A line is just up the road from the Hotel Elyssee and is 1.75 single to Disney and takes around 5 mins. If you just want a bed and a shower from a long day at Disney then this is the Hotel for you.

Conveniently located right next to the Val d'europe shopping center and the Val d'europe RER A Station. The hotel is clean and spacious. Rooms are well equipped though they don't have air conditioning only heaters so I wouldn't like to stay there during the hot weather months. A good value for your money. From Charles de Gaulle Airport it only takes less than half an hour to get to the hotel. You just take the TGV train to Marne La Vallée-Chessy Station which is just next to the gates of Disneyland Paris and then you switch to the RER B and from there you are one station away from Val d'europe. Once you get off the train at Val d'europe you are a block away from the hotel (north exit of the station). On the other side, if you want to get to Paris just take the RER A and in just 30 minutes you'll be at the Arc du Triomphe. Beware that the hotel reception is not open all the time so check in advance your arrival time to arrange your hotel check-in either on the counter or with an automated machine located outside of the hotel. There are two vending machines right next to the front desk and a supermarket at Val d'europe. WiFi internet is free for guests but didn't work at all during my stay. If you run into the same situation there's a SFR or Bouygues Cellular store inside the Val d'europe shopping complex on the lower level almost across from the Auchan supermarket where you can get a prepaid SIM Card and purchase a data package for your unlocked smartphone. Bouygues was my choice.

We stayed there for 4 days. We were a familly of 4.
Good:
Near Disneyland Paris
Near the Massive Shopping center - Val d'Europe
Near the Val d'Europe RER A if you want to visit Paris.

Not too good:
The staff was not very friendly
Our apart was not very clean
Very hot because Air condionning was not really working
Private Car park: £ 8 a day but you can also find spaces outside the hotel

But perfect place if you want to go to Disneyland Paris
