Very descent hotel with extremely polite and helping staff. Rooms are cleaned and set up properly. Small Shopping mall just round of corner gives you a choice of finding almost everything needed. Tasty welcoming glass of wine and homemade cookies awesome! Thank you for your job!

Nice hotel. Needs upgrades

The staff were wonderful and the location and view are wonderful. This is attached to a small mall which is very convenient. The location is an easy walk to a good beach.
This hotel would have rated higher if it would invest a little money toward upgrades. The carpeting in the hallways looks filthy. This is not a reflection of the cleaning staff. It is simply time to replace the carpet.

Lost and not found

Cleaning ladies lost my shorts and the hotel refused to reimburse the cost

Emailed the managers and don’t like their attitude in solving this issue by accusing the customer lost it ‘somewhere else’

You are a 4 star hotel not B&B

Comfortable but an old hotel

We stayed at Hotel Riviera for 3 nights. The hotel is not a very ornate or modern one. It looks a bit old and outdated. The furniture and carpets everything looks old. The hair dryer in the room is something I’ve never seen. It seems to be of a different era altogether.
However, the stay was comfortable and the rooms were very clean. The staff were nice and helpful too. The breakfast spread was small and basic but good. The best thing is it is part of a shopping mall with restaurants and supermarket, which was very convenient for us.

Good

Moved here after running away from Hotel Praia Mar.
Place is restively new, rooms are good, has parking , spa, swimming pool and breakfast is alright (not good enough though)
One complaint I had was is just housekeeping is somewhat spotty, it took them two days to replace shower gel, soap and shampoo. ( there even was not enough at first place)
