We enjoyed puddings here 3 times during our 10 day trip to Nova Scotia. My favourite was the Apple Crisp with ice-cream and my husband loved the Cheese Cake! The staff here are exceptionally friendly. Nice gift shop too.

What a view!!! We drove to the Peggy's Cove early in the morning to beat the rush. WOW! Don't miss this site. The restaurant was good - we had a nice breakfast. Enjoyed poking around in the gift shop. Would go back there again - you know what they say about light houses - once you've seen one - you want to see them rest of them! And you'll want to see Peggy's again and again!

Service was rushed and after our meal was served they forgot about you, only rushed by with your bill. The seafood chowder was a big disappointment, very thick with flour and little seafood, and lots of salt. Save your money and have some seafood chowder somewhere else.

Popped in here for brunch on the advice of a local and it was an excellent suggestion. Sunday morning at 930 the restaurant was almost empty so we had our pick of the scenic views. Brunch is served on weekend between 9 and 2. Service was superb and the food was outstanding. Our group chose 4 different breakfasts and all were excellent with good size portions at very reasonable prices. Coffee was hot and fresh with a bottomless cup. Note the coffee is not included with breakfast. On really cold days, it pays to sit at certain tables and the staff will be happy to point them out. Next time I am in Halifax, I will be making the trip out to Peggy's cove for this brunch. Great scenery, food and staff. What more can you ask for.
