Peggy's Cove B&B was a wonderful experience. This was our first time ever staying at a B&B and the quality bar has been set very high. The personal service is great, and the new owners are wonderful. The house looks out over the cove and gives great views of the lighthouse. The place is easy to find, even when it's dark, rainy, and foggy (which it was for part of our trip). The breakfast was excellent. A delicious granola, yoghurt, and fruit parfait, as well as a lovely egg and bacon croissant sandwich. Most importantly, the coffee was excellent! We would definitely book this place again if we were to ever come back to Peggy's Cove in the future. I wish the new owners the best of luck with the B&B!

I can only recommend a stay at Peggy's Cove B&B. I recently stayed here with my sister at the end of an 5000km road trip and we couldn't have chosen a better place. Judy, Sharon and Dan made us feel really welcome and looked after, the room was spotless and we had that famous view whilst sitting on the bed, but we also had a deck right outside the room from which the views were even better. Breakfasts were wonderful and so extensive ('3-course breakfast') that I always got my muffin wrapped up to eat later in the day. The other thing I really enjoyed was that the breakfast was served communally, which meant you got to know some of the other guests as well. The other great thing about staying in Peggy's Cove is that you get to be there before and after all the visitors arrive for the day and see the village and lighthouse while it's quiet.

My wife & I recently spent 3 nights here and could not have been happier. The accommodations are bright, cheery, and very clean. Every room has a deck/balcony with a beautiful view of Peggy's Cove and the famous light house. The breakfasts were out of this world. Dan, Judy, & Sharon are charming folks that made us feel right at home. Only regret is that we did not stay longer.

It was our first time in Peggy's Cove and we were on the road for quite a long time and we needed a place to stay. We decided to stay at this B&B! We made a fantastic choice of deciding to stay there! We stayed in the little cottage across from the main B&B and it was so adorable. It had a warm feeling that hit us as soon as we walked through the front door. It had all we needed there for the night-microwave,fridge, tea/coffee, and it was decorated adorably! The beds were super comfortable and we really felt at home. The breakfast was to die for. Judy is a fantastic cook. We started off with some fruit and yogurt with muffins and our main meal was blueberry french toast with lemon. It was delicious and just melted in our mouthes. Her husband and sister were great to talk to and they all had a fantastic sense of humour. I strongly recommend staying there with that great bunch, it will be worth it.

Arrived late afternoon on a cool, damp, foggy day and then a little bit of sunshine in the form of Dan ,Judy and Sharon. We were made very welcome and Dan assisted us with our luggage , we got as far as the lounge and then a friendly chat with Judy and Sharon punctuated with the dry humour of Dan. The room had a great view of the harbour and the lighthouse and with a deck to sit on, perfect. The breakfasts were something else, great variety and perfectly prepared and presented. With their local knowledge life was made very easy with places to go and things to see, and they have a passion for trying to maintain the lighthouse as a viable attraction. When we booked, we were given great directions from Halifax to Peggy's Cove avoiding lots of little detours. If Peggy's Cove is your destination then this is the place to stay.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms are good but upstairs gives you access to a comfortable lounge and fridge.

This was our first stop in Nova Scotia. Judy is truly one of the best cooks we have come across. There was nothing plain about her breakfasts. We stayed at 2 other B&B's in Nova Scotia and she won hands down! Her husband Dan, is a hoot. He had us laughing all the time and was wonderful to sit down and talk with both Judy and Dan. We felt welcomed in their home. I would recommend anyone going to Peggy's Cove to stay with them.

We spent last Sunday night at this property and loved it. We were treated to the Cottage, as there were three of us. The rooms in the main house could only accommodate 2 people. The cottage was equipped with a fridge loaded with bottled water, milk to go along with the coffee and microwave in the room. There was a small bathroom and an awesome view through the windows of the lighthouse, just across the cove. If it wasn't for the house in front of the lighthouse on the other side of the cove, I would never leave. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to buy more property in this small community, as they want to leave it the way it is - Quaint, friendly and clean. We had time to roam the site in the evening as well as in the morning. We lucked out as it was a gorgeous sunny day and the seas were very calm. We had plenty of time to roam the rocks and discover all around the lighthouse and restaurant/gift shop. They even have 2 live webcams, so you can check back and see yourself on the on-line footage. For breakfast we were treated to the royal meal. There was fresh juice, tea & coffee, yogurt with fresh fruit - almost like a banana split without the ice cream. Then on this day - they change the menu every day - we were treated to a croissant/bacon/egg omelet. Very tasty. Not to mention the local folklore and stories regailed by Dan - he's quite the friendly host ;-) I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone wanting a clean and filling stay including a room with a view!

Room Tip: This is the only B & B that you can get a front-window view across the cove from the lighthouse...
