very nice hotel.... well maintained and clean....the only negative was that the elevators were not very efficient.. very slow...

our check in was later than usual ......(4:30) but compensated by our safety deposit box... very nice gesture. ( I thinlk his name was Matthew.. but not sure .. anyway.. THANK YOU....

again, for staying again.... we don't usually stay at same hotel..... but would not discourage anyone from stay here.....

Perry's is an older but well-kept resort hotel with plenty of great amenities and easy beach access. The front lawn is lush and perfectly cut and the furnishings out there were fresh and inviting - well laid out. The pools - indoor and out - were sparkling clean. Don't miss the complimentary donuts on the second floor kitchen in the south tower - home made, great!

When we arrived the desk clerk was very efficient and friendly. Once at the room, we discovered that the air conditioner was very weak (it had been turned on in advance of our arrival). One call to the front desk brought a technician within 5 minutes; within an addition 15 minutes, he had a new unit, fresh from box, installed and cooling the room. The housekeepers are thorough, very well supervised and courteous.

Parking can be a challenge - fills up, but it is safe and there seemed to be room for all, with a bit of a walk back to our tower a time or two. One nice touch in the parking lot at the south tower is an abundance of attractive palm trees and other plantings. The lobby area of our tower always had plenty of baggage carts (self-service). One elevator in the south tower never worked while we were there - slowed things a bit, but my expectation is that this will be attended to.

I would definitely recommend this resort to friends and family and plan to return in the future. If a bit of beach-side wear and tear put you off and you can only stand the newest, gleaming towers, maybe this isn't it. The tower halls are outdoor types ('motel' style access, all floors) and there is a lot of beach foot traffic, so some sand and weathering show up. But for the serious beach-goer who wants that terrific location on the south end of the strand Perry's offers superb, friendly and prompt service and will not leave you wanting. Ocean view rooms are really relaxing and the view and sound of surf are wonderful across that lush, green lawn. This one is five stars from me - well above expectations for a wonderful older property.

Room Tip: We stayed in the south tower - third floor. All rooms there are ocean front and nice. The closer to the ground and pool, the more noise you may get from people there, of course. The middle building with indoor room access (two floors) and the pools in atrium were attractive, but that area is very humid from the pools and hot baths. The decor in the atrium is attractive - many plants and trees, well kept.

Was having a family weekend get together at Perry's. Could not get an early check in but was given a parking pass to park the car and we were able to enjoy the beach while we waited until 4pm. We were given room 202 which was an oceanfront, View of the beach was good. The mini suite was clean. TV was a nice flat screen with many channels. Wi Fi was a bit slow. Staff was always friendly. The grounds were well keep. There were plenty of outside tables for family to sit around and talk of old times. The beach was very relaxing and the waves were great for surfing. We will go back to Perry's in the future.

We have lived in Florida for over 20 years and had heard about Perry's but never stayed there before. From what I understand, it used to be a really nice, family-friendly resort. It is family-friendly and the staff at the front desk were quite welcoming, but that's about it. The room was old and the entire complex is dirty and appears to be crumbling and falling apart. The cottages didn't appear to be much better from what we could see. There is a very small restaurant on the property where we had a not-so-great breakfast. Our towels were never replaced on our second day there, even after two requests to housekeeping. Finally, I had to call the front desk that evening when we came in from the beach wet and ready to shower with no clean towels. Our room was on the 2nd floor, close to the street so maybe there are nicer rooms elsewhere on the property? Overpriced for what really amounts to a run-down motel.

Room Tip: For about the same price, choose OceanWalk instead.

This place was awesome. Indoor and 2 outdoor pools, comes in handy when the storms roll in and out, you can go switch pools as the weather allows. Room was very spacious large bed with a separate room with bunks and a tv for the kids. Kitchenette came in handy with the grocery store across the street! After driving the beach and checking out other places and amenities, Perry's was the biggest and best . They also had a tiki bar on the beach. free pop refills too! It is older but they are renovating and it looks great. They do have a little souviner shop where u can buy boogie boards, sunscreen, suits, etc if needed. They have a live cam so u can have your friends check you out too!! Loved it and we will be back.
