We stayed here from Sunday to Friday. I'm a believer in you get what you pay for. But with this hotel, you get more than you expect. It's reasonable in price, which compared to some cheaper places, may make you question....dont. It's not the hilton, but let's face it, if you are looking to stay in the hilton, you wouldn't be reading this. Our first night was in a side room which had a balcony with a nice ocean view. So if you wanted to save money, that would be a great option. Monday we went to our oceanfront room. Wow!!! Room is spacious, decent sized refrigerator and microwave. Bathroom was standard and good water pressure, towels are soft. They have coffee in the lobby whenever you want it and it's good. Take the quick elevator down to the bottom floor and walk out to the pool area. Pool was warm and deep, hot tub hot and wonderful. All clean and maintained daily. Also a storage box was near the pool with water and sand toys that were available to use, for kids or adults who wanted to act like a kid. Walk out the gate and you're on the sand. Convenient hose to wash off the sand when you come back up. Hang out long enough and you may get to see some dolphins playing in the waves. Hotel staff were super friendly, from the front desk, housekeeping and maintenance. You definitely felt at home and not just another customer. The other guests were very friendly, even passing them on the beach, hellos were exchanged. The pool/hot tub were open 8am-10pm I believe, but you are allowed out there at any time to take in a view or to go to the beach.
They do not offer a breakfast, but to us that was not a deal breaker. We mainly dealt with eddy at the front desk and he was wonderful. Unfortunately I did not get the name of the lady who checked us in.
After our initial booking, our plans changed and we needed to stay longer, sadly they were booked for the weekend and we had to go to a hotel down the road. BIG mistake. Was comparable in price but we were miserable. In no way did it even come close to what we had.

The location is nice. Theres a cvs right there and some small stores. A short walk down the road is the cracked egg diner, a must stop for breakfast or lunch. You are a distance from the boardwalk (I wouldnt recommend walking there) so its at a quieter end of the beach. Also located a bit down is the lifeguard tower which is nice to be able to see the flag and if you are unsure of swimming in the ocean.

We will definitely stay here when we come back down again!!

Thank you so much for your great review. I am glad you enjoyed your visit. We are on the quieter, more family friendly side of Daytona Beach. I am sorry we were not able to keep you at our hotel. Almost every weekend of the year we run full but many times are able to arrange for our guests to stay longer when they want. I will be sure to hold you a room on your next visit. I appreciate all your nice comments and hope to see you again soon. Thank you - Roger Mahood - Manager

I did not know Days Inn was part of the Wyndam rewards. Staff was extremely friendly. Good value for the money. Quiet place with good rooms, pool, hot tub and balcony. Would definitely stay again.

We've been coming here for years and absolutely love the clean, comfortable accommodations - and manager Roger and staff are the best. Love the private balcony overlooking the ocean, beautiful decor, and especially the kitchenette as we like to do most of our own cooking on vacation. The hotel is on a relatively quiet, family-oriented portion of beach, Nice patio with pool and hot tub, shuffleboard, and the coffee is on 24/7.

Room Tip: Higher floors have better view of the ocean and less noise from the patio area.
