First time staying at Dolphin Beach Club and visiting Daytona Beach. In 2009 we had stayed in Orlando. In 2012, we stayed in Miami. Love sunny Florida. We have travelled most of the continent, hence we have been to many places and prefer warmer areas to visit. 28 December 2013 we stayed for 7 nights. GOOD POINTS: Few steps away from the Beach; Fantastic Beach Views from Studio Room; Free WiFi in room; Excellent car parking availability; Self-Contained with full sized Fridge; One packet of free laundry powder; Free washing machine usage for washing own clothes; Friendly reception; 4 nice pillows; Warm spa and clean Pool.
BAD POINTS: Ants around Dining Table and Kitchen; Floor boards were dirty when we arrived, evidence on bottoms of our feet; Lack of ventilation - no windows that can be opened safely so condensation and high moisture in room atmosphere, especially in Ground Level; Double Sized Bed was too small and very very uncomfortable AND DAMP; Room in phone does not offer International Phone calls; Dining Chairs heavy and difficult to move, I'm not sure how the Oldies would cope; Sofa did not appear to be clean; Refurbished room with Walls painted after flooding in 2009; Low lighting in car park and pool area in front of Beach, around 2 January 2014, at 2am we heard strange noises, thinking it may have been a drunk man, we had no idea of who to call...First time staying at Dolphin Beach Club and visiting Daytona Beach.
