This small, but jam packed museum is located right next to the temple complex. It gives a fabulous overview of the history of Mongolia, really puts things in perspective. Must do when in the area.

As a group we had a very short time at this museum but the exhibits were presented in a modern format and signs were in English for easy "self-guided tour". Definitely worth a visit. It also has a very nice modern restroom.

Lots of good information. Staff helpful and video should be viewed. Small cafe area and gift shop both good value.

This museum was donated by the people of Japan. It has great displays and most are in English. The museum guide is very sweet lady who has learned English by studying all winter on her own. Don't miss it.
