“not just breakfast”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Shea's Café is a small locally owned and operated restaurant that serves not only great fresh food, but it also offers their guests personal, friendly service. Everyone is treated like family there. The food is made to order, and the muffins baked daily are big enough for two! There is always a wait, but well worth it.

I have never had anything but a great meal here. The bananas foster French toast is to die for, as well at the pumpkin pancakes. The sandwiches for lunch are creative and just as good as their breakfasts, which is served all day.

Shea's is a not to be missed meal when visiting the Atlantic City area. The residents of the area already know its a fabulous place!

“Long Wait, But Good Food”
Reviewed September 2, 2013

We were here for breakfast, which honestly ended up to be more like brunch by the time we got seated. Since we were "out-of-towners" we don't really know if 40 minutes is a typical wait. It seemed like a local favorite. The food was worth the wait with special french toast stuffed with almond paste and other delicious breakfast/lunch items. The service was good for as busy as they were and everyone was very friendly. It was a good find!

“Had to go back!”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

We were in the area again and made a point to get to Shea's for breakfast. Always worth the wait (20 minutes) the staff is super friendly and the owner is always making his way around to ask how things are going.

My wife got the eggs Benedict with crab..the crab was fresh and delicious, eggs poached perfectly. I tried the crunchy stuffed french toast..WOW..might have been the best breakfast item I have ever had!

Even the coffee is good! Overall, we have been here 2x and it has yet to disappoint, I would highly recommend going here if you are staying down the street at the Seaview.

Reviewed August 27, 2013

We visited Shea's for the first time for breakfast. Had a crab Benedict dish, hubby had absolute omelet, both excellent. Biscuits are homemade and delicious. Can,t wait to go back and try the French toast, it also looks too god to be true!
