My adult daughters and I spent a week at the Marriott villas. Over-all we had a great time. The villas are very nice and comfy with great amenities. The Seaview hotel is no longer a Marriott property, so the restaurants over there are no longer officially associated with the villas. We don't really get into the canned activities in the resorts, so I can't comment much on those. Even though we didn't gold or even swim, our experience with the staff was good.
There was some noise issues, but not too bad.
There are some great day-trips. We went into NYC using the Atlantic city bus from the casinos. It cost us $35 each, round trip and it takes about 2 2/2 hours. It takes you straight to the Port Authority and runs several times a day. The casinos give you a $30 gambling voucher on your return trip. It allowed us to see a show without dealing with Manhattan traffic/parking. We also went to Philly for a day and we took the Cape May ferry to Lewes, Delaware. The hotel staff can help with planning all those activities.
If you like to hike, there's great hiking on the beach in Atlantic city. We also enjoyed the shopping in Lewes (no state taxes in Delaware) and we loved the little shops in nearby Smithville.More
