“Just great.”
Reviewed April 26, 2012

Very nice course - short and easy to walk. The views of AC were great and the course was lots of fun to play.

“Elegant and Tasteful”
Reviewed February 18, 2012

This is a wonderful resort for golfing. The resort itself has a very good restaurant/bar. The meeting rooms are spacious. The spa is very good. Great place for weddings and large parties.

“Classic Donald Ross course returned to it's former glory.”
Reviewed July 10, 2011

Seaview's bay course has benefitted from renovation and is now in first class condition. The LPGA tour stop is short on distance but has challenging greens and several long par fours that play into the prevailing wind off the bay. Smart club selection is a key as good players will not want to hit driver off of several holes. Keep the ball in the fairway and the course will yield good scores. Hit it wild and go for big numbers. This is now a must play on the Jersey shore.

“Badly maintained, slow play, inaccurate and contradictory distance markers”
Reviewed May 13, 2007

This was the last course we played in a two and a half month vacation from Sarasota Florida, St. Mary's Georgia, Ashville North Carolina, Pinehurst North Carolina, to Absecon New Jersey. The costs for all of the courses we played were in the $80 to $225 range. Except for the Seaview Bay Course each course was well maintained and in very good playing condition.

Relative to the Seaview course we were amazed at the generally shabby condition of the course, the fact that management charged us full freight while failing to mention that the Greens had just been aerated, the distance markers were in conflict with distances on sprinkler heads, the greens would not recieve high soft approach shots, and the tee boxes poor condition would rival the most heavily played public course.

The staff all were very attentive.....It was clear that all tips would be expected and perhaps appreciated!

We were perhaps unfortunate in that a large party followed our foursome on the course, but because the fairways are close together and those behind us were out for a good time and probably unfamiliar with the game of golf....we found ourselves ducking errant shots on nearly every hole.

All in all this was the most disappointing golf experience we've had in a very long time....Donald Ross would be spinning in his grave if he saw the current condition of this once proud track!
