The location of the property is beautiful. It sit in a large slopping site down to a small river, surrounded by large trees. This might be a concerned for those with young children, but properly supervised they could have a wonderful time. The site is teaming with wild life, we saw frogs, swifts and swallows, sparrows at the back door, bats in the evening and wild flowers all around.
Our host was very friendly and helpful. The local attractions are many, visit Ardmore of an excellent day out, and lots of shops in dungarvan for food.
The property is homely, has some fantastic antique furniture which adds to its charm. The kitchen and some of the decor is needing a little TLC, but this is reflected in the price.
If you are into your wildlife, and want a quite rustic corner of Ireland to escape too, I recommend it.
