My son and I stayed at Ashleigh House in September of 2013 for one night. I have to say, it was the nicest rooms we stayed in. It had two large beds and a nice view of the back gardens. It also had a huge deep tub which I took advantage of. Nice little sitting room to have a cup of tea to unwind. The breakfast was great and we chatted with several couples that we saw twice more during our stay in Ireland. Phyllis was a great hostess and very helpful.

We were greeted in spectacular fashion!!Rooms were clean and spacious, sitting room lovely, and home made breads and jams delicious. Breakfast was great. A stones throw from Waterford and with Phyllis's help we had a great time traveling the historical city. An overall charming experience.

This home is amazing. It is beautifully decorated and has a charming landscape. The breakfast is made to order and delicious. Homemade jam and rhubarb compote. The best part of our experience however, was the hostess. Phyllis is charming and is willing to help you plan your day. She definitely is the hostess with the mostest. Inwish we could have stayed longer

When we arrived we were greeted by Mrs. Phyllis McGovern herself! From the moment we arrived it felt like home. Our room was very nice and exactly what we needed for our stay. We decided to stay an additional night. The location was very convenient to Waterford and the surrounding areas. Mrs. McGovern, as well as her husband was very helpful in giving directions and input in things to do in the surrounding towns and cities. The breakfast, oh the breakfasts, they were out of this world. As we traveled across Ireland we basically had the traditional Irish breakfast everywhere. It was nice to have different options here. The pancakes and French toast are wonderful. I would definitely stay here again, and recommend it to anyone!

This house was beautiful and so clean, one of our favorites for sure. We were greeted by TJ who offered us a cup of coffee which was just what we needed after a long day of driving. We had a wonderful dinner at a pub just down the street that TJ recommended. We awoke to a wonderful breakfast made by Phyllis in a beautiful decorated dining room. Both take such pride in running their B&B.
