Just back from Hanoras Cottage..it is a real gem! Stunning location, great food and a really warm welcome. It is so relaxing. The hospitality is second to none and could not be replicated in hotels. If you love walking and good food this is the place for you. The food is fantastic and the breakfast is very special. Mary Wall is the best hostess I have ever met but is in no way intrusive. This would be a beautiful place for a small wedding. Five star food and five star hospitality and amazing value. Just go there you will not be disappointed!

Our return visit to Hanora's Cottage was the best part of our trip from Massachusetts. The breakfast(wow), dinners(most difficult choices of the day), and hospitality are certainly among the best. The Wall family and staff are inviting, attentive, and vested in providing the a most relaxing and memorable experience. Again, we left wondering when we will return.

Lovely (quite remote!) B&B with excellent food (breakfast really good - porridge excellent!), room 5 was really spacious with double jacuzzi. Mrs. Wall and her staff were very welcoming and always looking to help us.
Michael the walking guide was a fount of knowledge and really helped us enjoy the Comeragh Mountains.

My wife and I and her sister and husband stayed here last June. We had a lovely stay in all respects. The rooms are exceptionally well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast has to be seen to be believed - the range and quality is terrific. We also had dinner here, which was equally excellent. My wife is a coeliac and she was very well looked after throughout. An excellent location, especially if you like walking as there are some excellent walks of a variety of standards nearby.

Exceptionally friendly natives - always ready to stop and chat when met out walking, and also the staff in Hanora's Cottage -,nothing a problem, beautiful location, excellent multilevel walks, very much a place apart; quaint towns (Lismore, Cappoquin) within easy reach, as are gardens to view. Wonderful food - especially breakfast, and selfchosen packed lunch. Spacious rooms, and enormous bathrooms. Beside stone church, and set in garden with 'babbling brook'. A pleasure to visit.

Had a really lovely stay in Hanora's Cottage over a bank holiday weekend. Great hospitality and excellent food. Really enjoyed walking on the way marked trails in the Comeragh Mountains which start close by. Definitely planning to return!
