This HPTDC run restaurant in Kufri was conveniently stopped at during the official local tour that I went on whilst in Shimla. The menu was a little more limited than usual, as certain dishes like snacks were only served outside of lunch and dinner hours. Anyway, with that in mind I had to opt for aloo mattar and a roti, as no naans were available. The food arrived quite quickly for India, it was hot and pleasant, nothing spectacular but fine nonetheless. The potatoes could have been a little softer, that would be my only criticism. It came to 220rs including a drink, which was a fair price for the food received. The portion was a good size. There only appeared to be one waiter but he was doing a good job. Not worth going out of the way to get there but fine for food if you're in Kufri.
