We were on the beach and have just witnessed a lady fall to her death...please don't be tempted to walk round on the edge for a photo ... please stay safe and stick to the viewing point. Our hotel owner has said there's at least 4 deaths a year from falls. I can't understand why this is not known about and there is no warning signs at the top warning you and making sure you keep away from the cliff top. Please please please don't make the same mistake.

Foud a trip for E20.00 to Shipwreck & Caves. Bus to and from harbour, bargin.
Great landing, jump off into smooth limestone peebles and watch the stir.
Glad I went and boat was quite fast, some good chat.
Brought my own water and nibbles, did not expect bus to door!
Guide was great, to busy talking she missed her coach, hopped onto the back of a 1000cc bike and away - no helmets?
Sea is quite rough at the best of times. Fine for fit people.

Navagio beach was a treat to experience. First we drove to the lookout viewpoint (before the tour buses arrived) and trekked alongside the cliff to get the best view of the beach with the shipwreck, and the tiny hidden beach on its left. After soaking in the beauty, we made it to the lighthouse point and took a small boat to the beach (the only way to get there is by boat). Well worth every effort to get to this island and beach. It's off the beaten path, no tourist traps here, just raw beauty.

Shingle and pebble beach so flip flops a must! Shame the wreck is covered in graffiti but still worth the trip. Very busy though with boats dropping off and picking up again constantly blowing their horn for people to get out of the water. We were picked up after 30 minutes so just long enough for some photos and a quick dip in the sea

On a 'Round the Island' boat trip and this was one of the stopping points. You can only access the beach from a boat and lots of tours go here. The shipwreck boat is rusting away but still good to look at it. The beach is pebbles not sand, so some beach shoes are recommended and the sea is crystal clear and worth a swim in it.
The following day we had a drive round he island and found where to view the beach from above. Very popular place for tourists but once you've been I would not go back as only get to view a bit of the beach.
