scenery view of the waterfall, a small, yet breath-taking cave and the rare opportunity to take a photo from beyond the water

“Impressive”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 12, 2013

The waterfalls are even more impressive, given how dry the surrounding countryside is. The waterfalls are free to visit, with lots of steps leading down to several viewing platforms beside the waterfall. You can also walk right behind the waterfall which is quite an experience. There was a lot of water flowing the day I went, so lots of spray too.

“Amazing place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 11, 2013 via mobile

a place one must visit! Natural waterfalls in the city of Edessa, only one hour drive from Thessaloniki. Unique beauty with water, trees and a cave. There are a lot of taverns and restaurants near where you can have lunch or dinner. You can also find the old renovated area of "Varosi" next to the waterfalls, where you can have a walk and take some amazing pictures!
