Stayed at Jebel Lodge 15 months after my first visit. Despite there being a number of new hotels in Juba, the Jebel Lodge remains a good choice. It is secure, well equipped and the pool's water is kept clean.
The mosquito nets, added to the beds in mid-2013, are being kept in good condition.

I visited Jebel Lodge for lunch on a public holiday and can say that I was extremely impressed. The buildings and gardens are very attractive. Dining with colleagues beside the pool, we all shared an appreciation of the environment created here. What was especially exceptional was the food. I had the pork chops with mash potatoes and an interesting sauce. I must say they are the best pork chops I have had for a very long time. My colleagues meals look equally appetising. Truly this is a haven of tranquillity.

Great hotel out of the centre of Juba. Food is good. Pool is, usually, ok for a swim.
The hotel is up on a hill and catches more breeze than the hotels by the Nile.
At night, the noise from the local bar can be a pain.
Secure and friendly. Rooms have airco, DSTV and mossie nets.

The Jebel lodge is a great option in Juba! The pre-fab rooms are clean and spacious - nice TV, and small cooking unit. The airconditioning worked well. The shower was the only thing that wasn't so great. The bar and restaurant are also really nice. The menu has good variety and good vegetarian options. The pool is clean and they have a small gym as well.

Room tip: ask about the shower and if it doesn't work -ask early to get it fixed!

The Jebel lodge is a clean and frendly place to stay when you are in Juba.
The rooms are prefabs but - The food is excellent, and the rooms are clean, the staffs are very welcoming.
I liked the hotel pool, and at the bar no one hassles you. It is very nice to see someone has made such a great effort in Juba to put up such a facility!
I would certainly recommend it to any one visiting Juba.

Room tip: Try and get a room at the back of the lodge - away from the generators ( they run for 24 / 7 )
