Da Vinci has a great setting and a great variety of food to choose from. Do not be in a hurry as the service is slow - the setting and the quality of the food makes up for it though. Pick a spot close to the river!

Da Vinci is a place mostly visited by UN and NGO's the best of the expat community can be found here. UN parties are organised during weekend and entry is strictly through invitations only so you will have to make friends within UN to be here. Food is nice with reasonable rates, if you want to meet who's who of Juba to meet your business interest then this is the place for you to socialise during weekend

Great location right next to the Nile River. However the food at this quasi-Italian restaurant has declined since my last trip. I ate here twice during a recent stay but the food was not memorable. The spaghetti aglio olio was dry and the fish had too much sauce, obstructing its taste. Vegetables were overcooked and mushy. Consensus among fellow diners was mixed; some thought their meals good while others agreed with me. Nice ambiance though; the two nights I was there, there was a decent jazz band.

1st time in Juba & my colleagues highly recommended Da Vinci.
We had dinner @ approx 8pm so didn't get to view the Nile as we'd have liked.

Raves
- Great tasty food. Ordered the Thai Style Chicken with Potato croquettes and loved it.
Their fresh pineapple juice was also great.
- Great location ; waterfront. calming. peaceful.
- Yet another fantastic Jazz band [following my rave for the Jazz Band @ Moonflower].

Rants
- Terrible & slow service. Waiter was VERY rude to our party. At one point we called for the Supervisor.
- Dark/Poor Lighting. Given its location, more [attractive] lighting is needed.
- Very uncomfortable seats...we had to ask for cushions.
- Too many mosquitoes and cats all over.
