Beautiful quaint hotel with attached farm (great for children) and very adequately priced. Drink prices are very high but on the flip-side the food is outstanding. I ordered the duo of belly pork and was shocked by the shear volume of this delicious meal. Breakfast is self serve but very nice with lots of options. Staff are very friendly and extremely happy to help. Would defiantly go back to stay or alternatively try their Sunday Lunches or other meals.

We decided to check this place out as we have recommended it to our wedding guests as a place they may like to stay after our wedding.

We visited for the Sunday Carvery. We were a little early so decided to have a drink in the bar. My two daughters and I had a hot chocolate. You got a free small piece of cake which I thought was a lovely touch. We drank them by the lovely wood burning fire. Very cosy.

The whole place is very cute. There was a wedding on during our visit and the restaurant was very busy. The staff were very organised, friendly and took the time to chat to you which is always nice.

The Carvery is very reasonably priced. 3 medium meals and one small meal plus soft drinks cost around about £35 which for a family of four is good value.

The portions are also very large.

I really enjoyed my visit here and I feel proud to recommend it as a place to stay on my wedding stationery.

We will definitely be back.

My daughter had her wedding evening here after a wedding abroad in November.
From starting to organizing the wedding it was always going to be here, she had visited here one lunchtime with friends long before even an engagement offer and always said this would be her wedding venue.
True to her word it was.
What a fantastic place it is..
From the set up of the hall to the service of all the staff, the food was fabulous. They opted for the hot beef and pork sarnie with gravy n roast potatoes, and to perfection it was served.
We had a fantastic time thanks to Susan n her team.
The rooms where very modern and extremely clean and the bridal suite was perfect.
Shame it had to end.
Would most definitely recommend
.

We visited here as were looking for the perfect wedding venue. We were told every wednesday they dress the venue for visitors to see it in all its glory. How beautiful it was!!

While there we had such a lovely girl personally show us around and told us some ideas of what other brides had done. We also got to sit down and speak to an organiser who went through prices and what would happen on the day. Everything was so relaxed and inviting. Nothing but smiles and helpfulness. We were also told we could visit anytime to see the bridal room as at that moment in time it was in use.
We visited again and were welcomed back with a friendly smile.

Cant wait to revisit to book our wedding for March next year.

We have been going here for xmas dinner for the past 5 years and cannot fault it. For the first time we went for the carvery dinner, which although i had trepidations about it was probably better than the previous years. (if possible). Also, being a Real ale drinker, they have a few local beers on tap and find these to be a compliment to the meal. The atmosphere is always exceptional and no doubt we will be back again for year 7.

My husband and I stayed on the two day package for New Year. The room was huge and they had thought of everything even down to mince pies and chocolate. We had a jacuzzi and plasma tv on the wall and DVD player and a collection of movies. The entertainment was really great but the food was first class and plenty of it. The staff can't do enough to help and it had a lovely cosy atmosphere. My daughter is getting married here this year and I know it will be fabulous. We will always return, we are hooked!!
