“Good testing path”

Reviewed June 10, 2013 via mobile

As a cyclist I often visit the moores or do the c2c and travell along this path. However it has to be said the best part is the farm cafe on the side of this path where you can get alsorts of recreshments including hot meals.

A testing ride in great countryside along an old railway line. Yes there are climbs but not overly hard to an average cyclist. It forms part of the C to C route. Just do it!

This used to be a nice gentle track leading into the North Pennines, but it has recently been tarmaced and looks like an inner city park.

Its nearly all a gradual slope downhill towards the east especially pleasant after the off-road Rookhope 'adventure'

Pleasant and easy route for all types of bike but tyres wider than 23c might be best. Connects to other routes to give many options. Try not to get lost in Consett!
