This is excellent accommodation booked through Sykes Cottages. We were blessed with unexpectedly good weather which is always a bonus. The main reason for our week in Teesdale was a birthday gift to my partner who is a keen though not always successful trout angler, plenty of places to choose. The Coach House is a little remote but in a very lovely location and various small towns/villages are an easy drive away. Teesdale doesn't seem to be as well known as say The Lakes and N. Yorks Moors but it deserves to be. The countryside is beautiful and there is a lot of choice of things to do/see especially if you visit after Easter when places seem to open for the first time. But it is the walkers who benefit most and now I am unable to do much walking because of 2 creaky knees, I did enjoy very much a walk at Low Force which was both beautiful and easy.
Back to the accommodation, 2 bedrooms,2 bathrooms,a good functional well equipped kitchen and a comfortable living room with Freeview TV and a DVD player (take your own though). Very well furnished and quality linens and towels. What more could you want?
We have just come back from a weeks holiday, in Coach 1 cottage, what a beautiful place to stay, immaculate accommodation, everything you need and more, we can't wait to go back, such a peaceful, relaxing holiday. Thank you to all involved. Xo
