I went here with 5 of my friends for 2 nights and it was amazing.
it is extremely cheap £30 for the weekend, but incredible value for money!
there are many new and exciting rides, we went on the Friday and lots of people were at school so we didn't que once for any ride at all and the fish and chips there are lovely.
not only do you get access to the theme park, but also the zoo, arcade and swimming pool with a couple of slides.
I would recommend this to all family's and friends all ages!

“Great rides, poor food”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

There are some really great rides here, but the majority of the food establishments aren't at all up to scratch. We waited about 15 minutes for a burger from one of the 'fast food' places. There was only 2 people in the shop, and both moved at a snail's pace to conduct their work.

There is a problem with the rides in that they are far too short, and the queues were really long. The Zoo bit is fantastic and more than makes up for the wait though. There are so many animals to see and the shows are a good little feature to sit down and get ready to plunge into some more rides.

Beware, the log flume gets you absolutely soaked!!

A good day out, and whilst the rides aren't quite alton towers, the Zoo makes up for it!

“Great Family Day Out”
Reviewed November 6, 2013

Went here 19th October. we did have a voucher which got us a free pass which made it a reasonable price for entry. We also struck it lucky with the weather. Not sunny but not cold. There was not a huge number of people there. we got onto all the rides without a single queue. Brilliant. There were great rides for my 4 year old son. He loved the dinosaur section. Only ride he didn't like was the Run Away Mine Train.. for a kids ride, it was wild and my son banged his head. He was ok though. The zoo was really nice and we went to the sea lion show which was great. We had dinner at the diner.. It was ok.. suppose it was typical of this sort of place. Only gripe I have is that the rides all stopped at 4pm.. seemed way to early. Apart from that, we all left the park having had a brilliant time and may go back early next year.

“Great potential but let down by poor organisation and attention to detail.”
Reviewed November 3, 2013

Just returned from a 2 night stay at Flamingo land resort. I've stopped here before but despite having a few problems last time (missing kitchen sink plug so unable to wash up, no oven shelves, faulty smoke alarm) I decided to try again as the children had a great time in the park. This time the caravan was ok, the only problem being a leak in the bathroom that made the floor constantly wet.

The zoo was great, they have spent some money improving the enclosures and access to the animals and the staff were helpful and friendly. Unfortunately several rides weren't working and some of them where looking a bit shabby but this didn't spoil the day.

The problem came on the first afternoon/night when we went into Pitchers sports bar for drink but were told they were closing at 3.30 and not re opening. As this is the only venue with Sky Sports we were unable to watch the football ( One of my party is a big football fan) The following day (Saturday) we tried again, surely a sports bar would be open on a Saturday tea time for the football!!! but apparently not, they were closing at 4pm!!! We headed to the entertainment area (where the amusements and night time entertainment is) to be told they were closing at 6pm as they were having a private party that night. We weren't told about this when we booked.

We paid just short of £400 for 2 nights but on the 2nd night had to head back to the caravan at 6pm. To cheer ourselves up we decided to go to the chinese restaurant on site (we had called in earlier to find out what time it closed) but when we turned up it was in darkness. As we couldn't enter the entertainment area the only other place to eat was the overpriced mexican takeaway shop, we didn't bother as we have had food from there before and it wasn't very nice.

I feel so let down. This place has the potential to be so good but is managed badly. Come on flamingo land pull your socks up!!

“Good if you get a discount, many rides kept breaking down...”
Reviewed November 2, 2013

Visited during the school holidays but the queues were not too bad given a really nice sunny (but cold) October day. We'd paid £30 each for two adults and got the kids in for free given the vouchers for wearing a Halloween costume which many were doing then taking straight off once through the gates!

Many of the rides were continually breaking down and anything that seem to have issues in the last hour of opening was closed down for the day. Number of the Ride Operators (mainly teenagers) were all wearing iPod earphones or checking their mobile devices which might be the youth of today but effectively they are responsible for your safety whilst in the park.

Didn't eat at any of the outlets as we'd taken our own which most others seemed to have done too and therefore seem to be a strangely high number of wasps flying around perhaps a coincidence?

Would never pay the £30 each for all persons visiting so vouchers are a must to make the price vs. value bearable.
