We visited on Saturday night. From the number of cars outside we knew the Brownlow would be full and indeed not even the smallest table was free. The bar was also full with people on the well organised waiting list for a table. As the saying goes good things come to those who wait !
We enjoyed a bottle of the very reasonably priced house Rioja, hand picked by the owners on a trip to Spain earlier this year. The wine complements perfectly the already fantastic range of South African Wines.
Despite the kitchen being extraordinarily busy, there was no extended wait once we had ordered.
I had one of the ever reliable steaks a T-bone which was done to perfection as was everything else on the plate.
My wife ventured off the menu onto the special board having the strips of Fillet steak in bernaise sauce. This was a little more expensive than the normal dishes at a little over £20, but wow !, worth every single penny, the steak absolutely melted in the mouth.
The ice cream sundae deserts were equally impressive.
Thank you Jeanette & team for a truly memorable evening, you are clearly reaping the rewards of many years building up this fantastic restaurant, well done.
We will of course be back.
If you're considering a night at the Brownlow try it, you certainly won't be disappointed but definately best to book.
