Arrived at a pre-agreed time only to find no one could show me to my room as the owner was out and had not told anyone of my arrival - I should have left then but decided to stick it out - wrong choice. An hour later i was shown to my room without an apology.
One morning during my stay there was no one to serve breakfast, no milk on the table and a box of cereal bars that had been empty for the few days previoulsy. An apology was given the next day with an excuse which was not asked for or wanted. Following the apology was a 15 minute rant about the work I was doing in the area and what a waste of time and money it was - it was not a conversation as I did no talking, I just wanted to eat my breakfast in peace.
The room was nice although both the shower and sink filled with water as they were blocked with god knows how many peoples hair... The loo roll holder also fell off the wall (obviously not the first time it had happened), only to be placed back and the loo roll taken off and left on the cistern...
Their dogs were nice but are in need of some training, barking at 23.30 in the backgarden or when ever anyone goes downstairs (its a BnB, people come and go a lot) is not good.
Most definately would not reccommend this place.
