Had a great meal here. The risotto and chicken were fantastic and the desserts were second to none with the amazing flavours in the banana explosion and the peanut caramel cheesecake. The service could have been better but the food certainly made up for it.

Went here a couple of weeks for Sunday lunch with the family. It was a lovely sunny day and we sat outside, lovely location right next to the station. The food was nothing special, I even found a hair in my main course! We were really looking forward to this place based upon the reviews, but doubt we would return.

We stayed for two nights B&B and ate dinner here on the second night. If we hadn't already made plans we would have eaten here on both nights. Wonderful food in a nice relaxing atmosphere. Sitting on the sofa, chatting by the fire and sipping a glass of Pinot Grigio, I almost forgot I wasn't at home.
The table d'hote menu is great value for money and surprisingly good sized portions. We had the mussels to start, followed by a sun blushed tomato, basil and rocket risotto and a chicken supreme with gruyere and Parma ham and then finished the meal with a vanilla brûlée. All of these options were available on the a la carte menu.
Absolutely beautiful food and the service from staff was excellent throughout our stay.
