“Great B&B, Lovely Landlady”
Reviewed September 15, 2013

We stay 1 night in this lovely Bed and Breakfast. The Landlady was so helpful and easygoing. Every detail you can think about was taken care of. Great room + great breakfast. Highly recommended. The area is very beautiful. If we go back to Oban we will try to stay in this B&B again. Don't miss Oban it is a very interesting and beautiful port.

Stayed here for two nights in September. Lovely spot conveniently located on the A828. So peaceful and the views over the Lake are stunning. Our room was spotless. Beds were very comfortable. Nice big ensuite washroom with excellent water pressure. I did wonder why the washroom mirror was so high on the wall though...even my husband could barely see in it and he's 6 ft. tall! Homemade shortbread was on our welcome tray...yummy. Full Scottish breakfast was delicious. The host was very friendly and made recommendations for day trips and dining that were much appreciated. We really enjoyed our stay. Signage is poor, that's my only complaint.

A great welcome with the most comfortable & spotlessly clean room - this B&B effortlessly delivers first class accommodation with great attention to detail: lovely homemade fudge on the hospitality tray, fresh milk available in the guests fridge - which is outside the comfortable guest lounge. A bathroom with well placed toiletries, fluffy towels and immaculate shower. The views are stunning - a constantly changing tapestry of colours played across the water and islands beyond. Although close to the A828 - the good windows and only occasional passing car did not present a problem. The Ceragan Inn at Applin - a short 5 min drive up the road offered an amazing menu, friendly staff and a fabulous loch side dining experience - we even saw a seal! Our only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!

Stayed 3 nights at this beautifully situated B & B. Edith and Peter extended a very warm welcome to us and we found the accommodation and breakfast to be first class. We were able to come and go as we pleased and received ideas for days out. This is our first experience of B & B in Scotland and really did exceed our expectations.
Lovely area with lots to do and see including ferries to the islands, walking, boating, etc.
Edith cooked a lovely breakfast each morning; we were never rushed so it was a very relaxing experience. Peter and Edith are a lovely, warm and friendly couple - nothing is too much trouble for them. Thanks for the 'wee dram' Peter on our last night - greatly appreciated! H & R. Dalton.

Had a really nice two nights here couldn't ask for anything more and great hospitality. Will definitely return. The views were amazing especially seeing as sun was out. Just wish I'd took my bike as there were some great rides. Did climb Ben Lora though :)

We enjoyed great hospitality and service on our two night stay. We had a super double room with ensuite shower facilities and amazing views over Loch Creran.
Edith and grand daughter Lauren gave us a full Scottish Breakfast to remember.
Good value and easily found just off the main road. Ideal location for touring this area.

Room Tip: The bedrooms to the front have great views over the loch to the Morvern Hills.

I really couldn't have asked for anything more from my stay. The room (two bed room) was spacious, clean and had the amenities needed, along with a stunning view.

Breakfast was good, with a full cooked breakfast, cereal and toast. Peter and Edith were lovely and I really couldnt fault the hospitality I received - even coming to pick me up from the wedding I was attending at midnight.

I am looking forward to going back and exploring more of Oban and the surrounding areas staying at Loch Creran.
