“A beautiful place and a warm welcom”
Reviewed July 2, 2013

We were made to feel very welcome at this beautiful family-run castel. Our pretty room in the tower was stunning with a wonderful feeling of space, and supper outside on the terrace was a lovely start to our holiday. Breakfast the following morning was again delicious. Unfortunately we were only able to stay one night as we were en route to the South of France, but we would certainly hope to stay again on another occasion. Thank you to Yolanda and her family for their kindness.

We stayed at Le Castel du Mont Boise for 1 night during our tour of the Rhone Valley. The Castel has great views. Our room was beautifully decorated with a huge window so we could admire the views. The breakfast was served in a large dining room with an impressive fire place. There was a huge choice of items for breakfast. The only drawback was there was only hot milk available which isn't ideal to put on your cereal! The email confirmation I received asked me to pay a deposit of 38 euros, however the online card payment took 87 euros not really an issue but when we came to check out in the morning we were asked to pay the full amount for the room. After trying to explain in French and a phone call from the gentleman there it was sorted out. Despite this I would highly recommend this place as somewhere different to stay

Thank you very much for a so positive advice about Le Castel. I want just to say that we suffered at end of august of server/site problem. I do not want to bore you with our stories about internet troubles, just to say that yes, we knew that somebody paid 87 €, but we didn’t not know who did it exactly.
In several years activity it was the only time when such a thing happened. And the only way to know was to wait that a client claims that he paid it as you did. That’s why when I received the call about the incident I said immediately: ” yes he is right”. Sorry for that , I know you understood perfectly and I can see in your advice that you didn’t keep a bad souvenir for that reason. That’s why I want to thank you! Anybody else could take this incident as a good reason to put a bad advice about us just to have something negative to say
Hope to see you next time at Le Castel!

The Castel was our best accommodations experience while traveling in Germany and France for three weeks! Our rooms were beautifully decorated, romantic, and well equipped, as was the whole "castle." The grounds were lovely and very peaceful, with an incredible view. We chose to have their dinner option, which included appetizers in a separate sitting room, a delicious meal of fresh fish, a yummy dessert and local wine. Yolanda was a gracious and charming host with excellent language skillsl she spoke English beaitufully. I wish we had stayed more than a day - the whole experience was wonderful!

Yolande Thank you for your wonderful welcome and such a fantastic stay (5th April 2012)! We can only apologise we have taken so long to write this review. We arrived at 7pm which was too late to eat and wish we could have arrived before to benefit from the beautiful room before we went out to eat. Never mind, we loved the whole ambience of peace and tranquillity in the Castel and appreciated our large and beautifully furnished room with its spacious bathroom and shower room. Breakfast was a delight and we couldn't do it justice! Everything in the Castel is of the best quality and we felt very relaxed and refreshed before we continued our onward journey. We have definitely 'ear-marked' it for a return visit! We can thoroughly recommend taking the trouble to find it, just outside Montelimar.

Room Tip: We were shown most of the rooms. They were all individually furnished with the same care and attent...

Next time we will do our best to make you pleasure with nice diner based on local product of our beautiful region.
