We chose this restaurant based on the Trip Advisor reviews and were not disappointed. We had booked ahead, but on arrival someone else had taken our table. This did not phase them and although very busy on this Friday night they soon got us seated. The menu offered some standard fare as well as some more unusual dishes to try. The service was very good and friendly. There were no draught beers so everything was in bottles. There was a good selection of drink options, but this maybe pushed the overall price up. The atmosphere was good with a modern Asian music sound. The food was very well presented and very tasty. We had mussels and crab samosas to start and then chicken tikka masala and a chicken handi dish with ginger. The service was slow, but we were not in any rush, they were busy and the main thing was that the food was clearly being cooked fresh to order for each customer. The chicken was especially tender and beautifully cooked. At the end we were unusually given a small bowl of jelly beans and fizzy cola bottles on the table. I finished them off, went to the toilets, and came back to find the bowl had been replenished! As a couple we spent £55 in total with about a third of that being drinks and, if we were in the area again, we would definitely go back.
