We had an overnight stay with dinner.
The hotel is lovely and the dining room is beautifully decorated. Such a pity we were served with the most awful food. I had a cheese and chutney sandwich for lunch - it was tasteless with more chutney than cheese! For dinner I had fish and chips - how can you go wrong at a seaside resort with basic fish and chips??! The fish was under cooked while the chips were massively over cooked - they looked and tasted awful. My colleague had a mushroom dish which was beyond dreadful.
The breakfast was equally as bad. I had eggs benedict. The sauce was bitter and looked as if it had been standing far too long.
We were very disappointed

Beautiful 7 course fine dining for my partners birthday and made to feel even more special from the brilliant service received by Rob and Chloe. We eat regularly at Brockley Hall and have never had a bad meal or problem and nothing is ever to much trouble for the staff!
We will certainly be back for the supper club for my birthday!
Thank You!!!!

Took my mother for her birthday along with my sister for afternoon tea, what we had was very tasty and the scones were the best I've eaten in a long time .The staff are very friendly and the surroundings were beautiful. You don't get a great variety for an afternoon tea priced at £25 each we have tried many places for afternoon tea and this was the most expensive for what we got you definitely pay for the surroundings which as said previously beautiful.

Booked for Christmas on Saturday night (21/12/19). We were not too happy about pre-ordring the meals but went along with it. There were eight adults in our group. Three generations ranging from 88, 65 and 40s. WE arrived at the venue which was not overly busy. It took 25minutes to be served with drinks. Not a good start. Starter were mediocre. But the Christmas fare had clearly been prepared much earlier and reheated. The plate was swimming with gravy and served with the largest Yorkshire pudding (very off putting). The Chipolata was not cooked and the piping hot plate disguised the cold food sat upon it. The deserts were the smallest we have ever seen. The Malibu ice cream was missing and we had to ask for it. The cheese board was weird, served with strange Indian type chutney. The mince pies arrived. Shame the coffee did not arrive with them. Same as the drinks we has to ask. 10 Minutes even later the coffee arrived. Very, very, disappointed, £480.00 for eight adults which included very expensive drinks. Could have gone to a "Chain" for this quality at far less cost.
