From outside look fancy, also reception look fancy however:
- no warm water for shower (january) neither in evening nor morning - cold shower make you really happy with flu around.
- cold corridors
- trash bin on room was full of garbage from previous user
- there was a kettle with two paper cups, biscuits, milk and spoon thats all - really useful (all tea and coffee was missing)
- lot of things in hotel were scratched like door knobs, faucets...
Breakfast was average (for Italy), room was well heated at least.

We recently stayed here for a night as we had a cancelled EasyJet flight, and this was the hotel they booked for us. What a great choice it was. The hotel was really lovely and very clean and cared for.
The public areas were really nice and traditional but with a modern twist. The bar area was particularly nice and very welcoming.
The rooms were lovely. Nicely decorated, a comfortable bed and plenty of room to move about. The bathroom had a great shower and a whirlpool bath.
The food at the hotel was delicious and plentiful. A good choice of breakfasts for all nationalities.
The staff were very welcoming and extremely helpful. Nothing was too much trouble.
We very much enjoyed our unexpected stay. Following the upset of a cancelled flight, this hotel actually brought our holiday to a very pleasant end. We would highly recommend a visit, even if it is a little off the beaten track for Venice!

We stayed here on the last day of a 15 day tour of Northern Italy with Overseas Adventure Travel. I am surprised that this hotel was selected because it was over 20 km from the Venice Marco Polo Airport and required costly taxi transfers. There was no reason to be in Traviso except to sleep and there are much more comfortable hotels near the airport with shuttle service.

The hotel could have been charming but for the fact that it was in such disrepair. The herringbone floor in our room was warped and loose because water from the bathroom shower leaked not only all over the bathroom floor but into the bedroom as well. This happened because there was no caulking or water-stripping between the shower door and the floor. It obviously had been gong on for a long time by the looks of the damage to the bedroom floor.

On the bright side, our group had a lovely farewell dinner in the grand dining room and we really enjoyed the talented young musicians who performed during dinner.

Bottom line--this place might be wonderful for a party but there are far better accommodations closer to the Venice Airport.
