Enjoyed our Stay Here!

5.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Mar 9, 2018
We stayed here for three nights in September. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our room was very nice and modern, and clean. We loved the bathroom amenities provided, as well as the breakfast buffet in the morning. The food in the morning is very good, although not many options. We didn't care though, due to eating so much in Venice!!! It is a short drive away from the metro station to get into Venice. We had no trouble getting to and from. I have seen some rough reviews but don't understand why! We really did enjoy our stay and encourage everyone to give it a try. It is also close to Treviso, which we recommend checking out!!!

Nice hotel, convenient to Treviso and Venice. The staff was pleasant and informative and their included breakfast just the thing to start the day. We arrived tired and thought we'd try the main dining room ( not run by the hotel). Big mistake: stale bread, overpriced menu, nothing to recommend here.

Spent one night at hotel pace. The facility is very nice, with nice park around and spacious free parking. The room was ordered and comfortable, but definitely furniture and particularly bathroom needing a renewal: everything seems dated back to the ‘90 and definitely ready for substitution! The breakfast has been good and full of options. The personal nice and prepared. But Best aspect the price, absolutely convenient.

My wife & I visited this hotel in the off season & found the place to be good but not great. The nice thing is that this is pretty close to the train station, meaning that day trips into Venice are pretty easy. We drove and hit other parts of Italy, so we definitely needed a hotel off the beaten path where we could park (meaning there is no way we could stay in Venice). The rooms were clean and average size. The restaurant was good & reasonably priced. The hotel does have a sauna, steam shower & pool. The pool was unheated (but, it was October...so I think it was shut down for the season). Sauna & steam showers are pretty nice after a long day in Venice. There are some other restaurants within walking distance that are probably a better value than the one on site. I recommend the one next door. Also, I will say that we stayed at 2 other hotels during our vacation and this was by far the easiest to find.

It's a bit isolated from other attractions so I wouldn't consider it a good base for visiting the area and there aren't many amenities nearby. From a family friendly perspective, the cot we had requested wasn't in the room when we arrived but was provided promptly. We asked for milk for a baby's bottle and were charged €3 for it. Breakfast is okay with a reasonable choice, although it is served in the basement.

We hadn't realised that the swimming pool was only outdoors so sadly it wasn't suitable for our 16month old. As it's an older building, the rooms are not fully sound proofed so we could hear our neighbours and when they were using their jacuzzi bath. We knew there was a city tax separate from our hotel charge, but strangely the hotel asked for the city tax in cash even though we were settling the rest of our bill by credit card. Just to flag there are mosquitoes in the area.

Room tip: Keep your windows closed, there are mosquitoes

Obvious that september is not the most correct month to visit this old-fashioned spa style hotel. You even can swim in outdoor green-covered openair pool in late summer time. You will love the silence, bamboo garden, stylish old looking interior while lacking a lot of modern world hotel amenities.
