“Wonderful place”
Reviewed September 25, 2012

What a wonderful stay for our group of 8 from 9/5-9/12! The house and property is just beautiful, tranquil and relaxing, and Tim and Claire are the perfect hosts. We took a day trips to various locations each day, and each was within a doable drive and Tim's directions and suggestions were so accurate! We visited Zuheros, Cordoba, Seville, Granada and Priego de Cordoba and allowed a day in between to hike the property, enjoy the pool (and a wonderful poolside lunch prepared by Claire) and just chill. We also enjoyed 3 nights of Claire's delicious dinners after our day trips, and after one of these dinners we enjoyed a Flamenco guitar and singing performance arranged by our hosts. Tim also gave us an olive oil tasting and lesson on how the oil is produced and graded...Casa Olea will be selling their own olive oil and we've ordered some. All the amenties were there, including wi-fi, and our hosts were so gracious and attentive to every need! I would highly recommend Casa Olea if you are visiting this area.

Tim and Claire truly opened their Casa Olea to our group of 8 from 9/5 - 9/12. The location was out of the hustle and bustle of a city and allowed us to enjoy the countryside of olive groves, relax by the pool, and hike the property with Ruby. Every amenity was available to us and our gracious hosts paid much attention to our requests. We dined in several nights and enjoyed Claire's cooking and she left us will all of her recipes. Tim's daily driving directions were life savers and we were able to easily maneuver the streets of Cordoba, Seville, Granada, and Priego de Cordoba. When we departed we felt as if we were saying good by to part of our family. We will always remember this week at Casa Olea and hope to visit again.

Room Tip: We stayed in the Almendra Room which was quite large and overlooked the courtyard and pool.

We hugely enjoyed our 2 nights stay at Casa Olea and wished it had been longer. We drove from Malaga in our hire car and Tim’s directions were spot on. This is a beautiful location, far from the crowds, and so relaxing, and tranquil - perfect to disconnect (although wifi had just arrived), sunbathe by the poool and for a variety of lovely walks. We loved our visit to Priego de Cordoba, and on the day we left visited beautiful Cordoba and the Mesquita before continuing to Seville. Tim and Clare are perfect hosts, friendly and available to chat /help whenever you want. Exceptionally good food. Highly recommended!

We stayed at Casa Olea for only two nights - and would have loved to stay longer. The location was perfect, away from the "beaten track" in the middle of olive fields.

The house is beautiful, everything is high quality and you even have air condition and internet access. The rooms are nice and beds are great. The pool area is perfect with loungers, sofas and shade. Food was delicious and dinners outside in the candlelight was pure adventure.

Tim and Claire have made their casa into much more than a hotel; It is a very pleasant place to relax and talk to the other guests and the lovely hosts. They have also made sure it is easy to experience the surroundings by giving excellent advices and having walking trip descriptions you can grab and take along with you. You can even have their dog Ruby walk with you. We had beautiful walks early in the morning and enjoyed the silence and all the olive and almond trees. Couldn't have been better!

Room Tip: Any room is great here - and don't worry about the road...there really is no traffic at all.

We are a family of 4 (2 teenagers) from the United States. We rented two rooms for four nights and had a wonderful time. Tim and Claire were awesome hosts, and the food they made was wonderful! The rooms were immaculate, and Tim and Claire were extremely helpful in giving us directions to attractions nearby, restaurants to eat at, and places to visit. Exceptionally clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds and very usable bathrooms. The location of Casa Olea is perfect! You can go hiking and biking near the nearby villages and day trips to Cordoba. All in all, a wonderful experience and a perfect holiday spot!

Room Tip: All of the rooms have great views and are excellent!

Having recently returned from a trip to Andulsia we felt we should write a review of this marvellous welcoming luxury guest house. Set in the stunning andulsian countryside from the moment we arrived we felt relaxed and Tim and Claire were perfect hosts helping us feel at ease, but also enthusiastically introducing us to things to see near by and also some very yummy food (most of which was made from locally sourced ingredients and amazing olive oil) Sat outside having our dinner with the sun going down watching the Swallows race each other and the night slowly arriving with bats appearing and then the amazing panorama of the beautiful night skies twinkling stars was a moment which we will remember for a long time . Having spent the day enjoying the wonders of the Mesquita in Cordoba this was a brilliant end to the day . The room was really nice with the added luxury of air conditioning and the pool is set again against the stunning Spanish setting , we would love to return soon very good.

This is an outstanding hotel in an amazing location. Casa Olea is a great place to relax. The food is of a high standard. Beautifully clean rooms with extremely comfortable beds. Great hospitality from Tim and Claire. We didn’t feel we were staying in a hotel but part of a family. Ruby, the pet dog, is a real character. I went for a daily run and ruby came along to keep my company. I have a rule with holidays, never go back to the same place, however, we will certainly return and often. Absolutely loved the place. Absolutely loved everything about it.

Room Tip: We were in room Olivio. Good size room with it's own balcony with a table and two chairs. Great...
