We visited this so called Greek restaurant whilst on holiday. The food was awful. There was 8 of us at the meal and only 1 person was "sort of" satisfied. The service was poor. The waitress forgot some of the food. And when we told her we wasn't happy with the food, she laughed and thought we was joking! Then the entertainment came. Well, it was meant to be Greek dancing, plate smashing and fire starting. The dancing was more like him skipping round the room, the plate smashing was him just smashing 1 plate on the floor and then the fire, he just poured a bit of alcohol on the floor and set it a lite. Absolute awful restaurant!

Fabulous taverna at a leisurely walk near Coral Bay beach. What better after a long day sunbathing n swimming to go and enjoy wonderful menu of what ever you fancy! Lots of choice! Not enough days in a 2 wk break so you have to go back time after time! Wonderful family - run traditional Cypriot taverna. Fresh lobster, lamb, chicken ,salads everything! I love food and excellent service with fab sweets cocktails etc no rushing like other places who tend to rush you out! As well as all this Kiriakas ,the owner has a great fire show and best of all a wonderful professional entertainer Spiros, who sings 8 languages ,plays bazooki ,keyboards and romantic traditional songs and up to date pop songs ,so has something for all ages! A must for family and singles who enjoy good food ,great entertainment and holiday memories to remember and treasure forever, I am a life long fan ! Thank you to all wonderful staff and family xxx

Went to the oasis for their 'Greek Night', have to agree with other reviewers in the fact the food was poor, it is described in the menu as a meze, fortunately for me I have enjoyed some excellent meze in Cyprus and this was at best average, the bread was nice, so was the hummous, the meat was totally over cooked and nearly impossible to cut into even with a steak knife, the accompanying dishes the meat were half a jacket potato, 4 slices of carrot and 5 diced pieces of marrow, and that was it!! 17 euros pp. The entertainment was so amateurish I ended laughing. Now the reason I have scored it a 3 and not a 1 is, the service of our waitress was actually very good and our 11 year old daughter really enjoyed the entertainment, There is not a lot else I can say, except if you want a really wow meze go to 7 st George...good luck

the entertainment here on three days a week took me back to visiting Greece in the 1970's. It included a Bouzouki player (later morphing into a pub singer), flame dancing, plate smashing, glass balancing on head and forced audience participation - then Agadoo and the birdy song. Food OK, don't choose from the menu (half of it was 'off' and what we had was below average and the veg was dreadful). Just have what's on the grill. The parrot on the beer tap eating chips was priceless. Lovely waitress who is studying in Bristol!

My wife and I took the bus from Paphos to Coral Bay, and made the mistake of going all the way (through the main Coral Bay "strip") to the end of the line. Problem was the end of the line is a large car park on a cliff top, and even the nearby resort complexes were all completely closed up - so if you do the same, get off at the end of the highstreet, and save yourself the walk back.

We found this place by accident whilst bimbling back to the main Coral Bay area - we were desperately in need of a drink and we could see it was open so stopped off. It's located off of the main resort strip, on the edge of what is a residential area (there's it, and nothing else there). We chilled so much, we decided to stay for lunch.

Our food was cooked on the pre-stoked barbeque (located inside the dining area) and was great - certainly the best meal of our trip to Cyprus at that stage, and as good as those we experienced at the Hondros Taverna in kato Paphos. Sea Bream with accompaniments, Sheftalia et al, Bacclava for one, two brandy sours, coffee and copious amounts of keo beer came in at a little over EURO 45.00.

Although the venue itself is of typical Southern Mediteranean design and finish (ie "anything goes", bodges on bodges), the proprietor's a great host and we had a very pleasant afternoon whiling away the time in what passed for the out-of-season sun.. Would definitely return.
