This is a terrific restaurant with new owners. They offer great food - try the 18 euro fish meze, but only if you are hungry. It starts with dips and salads then moves on through all sorts of squid, octopus, prawns, soft shelled crabs and ends with sea bream and sea bass. Everything is well prepared, tasty and delicious. The staff are great too.

The best thing is the large free swimming pool; this was a great find. We spent the afternoon here before dinner and our late flight back to the UK. We were the only tourists in the place, everyone else was local.

It's a great place for families: the kids can use the pool (so can the adults) whilst the grown ups enjoy their meal.

This Restaurant (Seafood Restaurant) reopened about 2 month ago under new mamagement and what a great team.
The service is very friendly and warm and they do know their job. The fish is the best I had in the Paphos and Coral Bay area. The nice thing about this restaurant is that it is not the ususl Taverna look. I have been there now every week and will for sure continue to visit this place on a very regular basis.

We had dinner at this restaurant three times. We enjoyed the discussion whilst selecting our fresh fish from the cold display. We were able to choose how the fish was cooked and what to have with it. All of the staff were friendly. The wine was superb. We were staying at Azzurro villas which are only about 1 mile away.

If only we had discovered this wonderful restaurant at the beginning of our recent holiday in the St George area of Paphos! We only managed to eat there twice before it was time to come home but you can be sure that we will be regular customers on our next visit. The Psarochori (literally meaning "Fish Town") is tucked back from the road between Coral Bay and St George, opposite the turning to Paphos Zoo, and was actually within walking distance of our villa. It was formerly known as the Akamas Fish Tavern and is now under new management. The whole place has had a makeover and is now staffed by a fantastic team headed up by the very friendly and helpful Lefkos. There is a superb swimming pool that customers - or anyone else for that matter - are free to use during the day. Not being great fish eaters we dubiously parked our Jimny and approached the restaurant where Lefkos was waiting to greet us. Upon his reassuring advice we ordered our meal and were greatly impressed by the high quality and the freshness of the fish, and also by the several extras we were given free of charge - little dishes of mussel pilau and inkfish in wine sauce, together with several dips and olives. For our main meal the fish had been filleted and prepared as we had requested, and were absolutely delicious. When we at last asked for the bill we found it was exceptionally good value The atmosphere in the place was superb - so calm, peaceful and friendly. I would recommend this place to any holidaymaker who is prepared to make the effort to drive out of Coral Bay or Paphos to find that special eating experience. It is well worth the extra mile.
