This is a lovely hotel. My wife and I stayed here for the second week of our honeymoon in Sep 2013. The owners and staff at the hotel were all really friendly and so helpful. They served a lovely breakfast every morning (including homemade cakes and cookies) and the owners and staff always spent time talking to all guests, or giving advice on where best to visit etc. The bedrooms, although on the small side, were really nicely laid out. Everything was of high quality. Each room has a very small balcony with two chairs and a table overlooking the swimming pool and down across Fiskcardo itself to harbour/bay. The swimming pool always provided a nice end to the day, a great place to catch the last few rays of sunshine. Fiskardo itself is really lovely. The town includes a marina with lots of posh yachts and a great mix of restaurants and cafes. You can hire out little motorised boats for the day, go on walks through pine trees, around the bay to the tower on the headland. We hired a boat for the day and sailed across to nearby ithaca, which was great. This part of Kafelonia is a delight. If you have a car (and you need one really) you will find all sorts of walks and little bays and beaches to explore. Absolutely beautiful. Would definitely stay at the Fiscardo Bay Hotel again. Superb.

Room Tip: Visit the little beach nearby. Its lovely and quiet and very pretty. It is pebbly so buy yourself some beach shoes. Lots of great sea life to look at, you can swim out a long way and look right down to the bottom!

Apologies for the time it has taken me to write this review. However, having recently caught the Trip Adviser bug and given the young owners' refreshing absence of pressure to do so I feel it is appropriate to write one now.

This is a lovely property - very well located and the accommodation, while simple, has everything you might need. The owners are lovely - so kind. I had a right faff with my mobile while I was there (we wanted to take a small boat out but our mobiles were not operational (our bad)) however, the owners went beyond the boundaries of expected service to lend me one of their own personal mobiles etc so we could go for our boating experience. It was so very kind and appreciated. This hotel offers very high standards for a hotel of its class and low price. So often standards like the quality of breakfast can suffer - not here - lovely fresh fruit, gorgeous home made jams, honeys, Greek yogurt etc...

Fiscardo is a real gem - fabulous swimming/ sailing opportunities - eating out is very easy (as vegetarians we can often struggle - not here - loads on offer to suit all tastes). Perhaps the location is a little twee/ staged - however, it is fabulously pretty and if you don't want the hassle of driving and want a point and click - chill out holiday - you can't go far wrong.

So why only four stars? Did the accommodation blow me away? No. Would I have expected it to? No. However it was everything it should have been for the price and we couldn't have asked for much more.

Room Tip: (If I was to stay again I would book a room on the 2nd floor (better views/ privacy offered)).

Location is excellent - just a 5 minute stroll to the harbour and close to large free parking area.
Our room on the top floor was well furnished with a small balcony and harbour views. Service was attentive and charming. The pool area is compact but given the size of the hotel and the closeness of great beaches - this wasn't an issue for us and not unexpected for what is essentially a small village! If you want to be able to walk into Fiskardo and stay in a great little hotel - stay here!

Room Tip: Top floor rooms have the best views (of course).

We visited the Fiscardo Bay on our honeymoon in May this year - and were bowled over by the place. Small and friendly, whilst also having a level of class and sophistication which was great to see. The staff are attentive, kind, friendly and incredibly hard working.

You are only a few minutes out of town, but the views are beautiful the pool is perfect.

Fiskardo is a jewel - busy and fun whilst also having quiet and lovely places just a few minutes away. The food in the restaurants is wonderful, as is the service. A high-class resort we didn't want to leave - top class.

Just back from a fantastic week at this beautiful boutique hotel. Small with only 9 rooms plus 1 suite but very clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly , welcoming and attentive. Pool area is lovely with cushions and towels provided. Location is perfect; just a short stroll away from the centre of Fiscardo. We really enjoyed the breakfasts. Freshly baked croissants, pain au chocolat, cookies, fresh fruit and a lovely selection of home made jams and the most fabulous greek yogurt and honey. They even had Earl Grey tea for fussy tea drinkers such as me! Clean towels provided for the room each day. We would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel.
