“Excellent food and service - worth a visit”
Reviewed October 4, 2012 via mobile

I must admit I had very mixed feelings about eating in a Thai restaurant on a Greek island...it just didn't seem right somehow. Such reservations were allayed when we entered the restaurant, what a lovely place, well set out, not too cramped as you so often find. The staff were extremely attentive and the food delightful. Certainly on a par with good Thai restaurants I have eaten at in the uk, and exceeds many of the "also rans" that you tend to find in the Uk, where quality does not seem to enter the equation.

Having visitd Thailand and eaten freshly cooked Thai fare, this was of an equal standard.

Our menu choice was a salad starter each, glass noodle with shrimp and pork and minced chicken, then to follow lamb massaman and a chicken penange both lovely and spiced up at our request.

Would definitely return to kefalonia, and this restaurant would be one of the main reasons to do so!

“A taste of Thai amongst the Meze”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

We didn't expect to find a Thai restaurant in Fiskardo, and we gave it a try because we could. They have a varied a la carte menu, and on Saturday and Sunday they also offer a full buffet at a fixed price of 15 euros. We went twice in two weeks, and opted for the buffet both times.( I had to go back when I discovered they cooked with Thai basil, my favourite herb.) The Thai chef used lots of other flavoursome herbs and spices, and didn't hold back on the chillis, so plenty of ice cold Mythos beer was consumed. The fish cooked in a light batter was a special favourite of ours, as was the chicken cooked with coconut, chillis and basil. The impressive array of food on offer included soup, spring rolls, noodles, rice, beef, fish and chicken dishes, some fiery, some mild. We thought the quality and flavour compared favourably with Thai food in England, and concluded that Thai food worked perfectly well in Kefalonia.

“A very nice surprise”
Reviewed September 27, 2012

The Lord Falcon is situated just of the main area of the port of Fiskardo, a beautiful little port on the island of Kefalonia. It is a surprising place to find a Thia restaurant but belive me, it's worth it.
The Lord Falcon has a contemporary deco and a very relaxed atmosphere.
It was a very quiet time of year when we visited.
We found the service to be very efficient and friendly.
Food was excellent
We made do with rice crackers for the starter and had three main courses with two portions of rice.
Wine was good local bottled wine that my companions enjoyed.
Price was reasonable and was a nice surprise as prices in Fiskardo can be a bit on the expensive side (the port is known as a mini Monaco).
If you visit/stay in Fiscardo, I would recommend a visit to the Lord Falcon as it is a very nice Thia restaurant and a nice change from the local food. You can also walk around the small harbour after your meal and stroll around looking at the very pretty tavernas and small shops and some very expensive yachts and boats.
Definitely visit the Lord Falcon an our nice trip to the port.

A very good chilli hit right on the port at a good price. The buffet at weekend is good value and is very nice.
