“A little gem of a taverna”
Reviewed June 14, 2014

This is one of the best places to eat, it's not in Fiscardo it's just outside in Antipata, but it's a must!
The food is wonderful, the staff are so helpful and friendly, and they have lovely
traditional Greek food. The prices are less than in Fiscardo. It's one of my favourite places to eat, and they are open all year round, which in Fiscardo they all shut for the winter.

“Average lunch”
Reviewed June 7, 2014

We had lunch on a Saturday based on previous Tripadvisor reviews. The restaurant is on the main road to Fiscardo in a small hamlet. We were the only diners and although the service was good and friendly the food was poor. The grilled squid was dry and the chips soggy. The traditional Greek filopastry dessert with honey was uninspiring. Nevertheless the beer served in a large chilled tankard was extremely welcome on a hot day. We drove out of Fiscardo to try this restaurant but would not visit again.

“Great Atmosphere”
Reviewed October 31, 2013

We had a great evening, food was basic but very nice, all the staff were great. A typical Greek taverna , relaxed atmosphere and good value, worth a visit.

“Wonderful traditional roadside Taverna.”
Reviewed August 13, 2013

We visited this Taverna one evening recently. We had passed on a number of occasions and it was always busy.
As mentioned in previous submissions the staff are friendly and the service is excellent.
All the food we had was fresh, well cooked and well presented. I would recommend the Haloumi cheese and Honey starter. Delicious!
This Taverna provided excellent food, service and atmosphere. Well worth a visit.

“Out performs its posh rivals”
Reviewed August 11, 2013

We were fortunate to be staying within walking distance of this village tavern in Antipata. As a result we ate there on 6 occasions in 2 weeks and so experienced all aspects of their menu from fish to traditional Greek to the spit roasts. We were never disappointed . The family are lovely and run an excellent Taverna which out performs its trendier rivals on Fiscardo harbour . One example is their deep fried calamari, spanking fresh ,tender and cooked to a crispy perfection .No establishment however trendy on the harbour does it as well as the Stonehouse .Thanks Petrino you made our holiday - Kephalonia on a plate .
