We have eaten twice at this restaurant in the evening and found it to be excellent. The fish is beautifully cooked with imaginative sauces. I had the beef fillet one night which was soft and incredibly tasty. Their own label white wine is exceptional. The staff are lovely and friendly and it is pretty reasonably priced. Highly recommend!

Lovely place by the sea. The food was overpriced especially considering the quantity of food. The quality was very good, but it was disheartening that there weren't many vegeterian options. The staff were very friendly and nice. It was a very pleasant experience.

We loved the sound of this place from the reviews and went here for our first night in kefalonia. We had half a carafe of house white which was nice and chose the tarmasalata and anchovy bruchetta and the fried octopus with feta mousse. We then got delivered bread with two dips, taramasalata and olive which we hadn't ordered but we didn't know was complimentary!

The bruchetta arrived which was lovely but the octopus was accompanied by a cold mashed potato. It was grilled rather than fried but it was the mashed potato that was off putting.

I then had pork belly in orange with pureed potato and my wife has the beef stifado. The pork belly was three small strips and slightly warm pureed mash, no greens or tomatoes or any other accompaniment and mug wife's stifado was serves with French fries but no mention of this on the menu.

Our first night here so there's plenty more to choose from in this quaint little harbour . . But my advice would be to give this placed a miss. Definitely not value for money or as advertised !

Having eaten in a couple of places we decided on Irida's after overhearing another couple chatting about how much they loved it. Very friendly service, and the food was solid. I had a we'll cooked sea bass, my partner had a 'medium rare' steak, with was closer to medium well by our standards. Decent baclava. What was a really nice touch was they gave us a small bottle of their house wine.

Excellent experience. Highly recommend the feta cheese with honey and grilled octopus for starters and the prawn linguine and stuffed squid for mains. House red wine is very good.
