We stopped off for lunch in Fiscardo during our holiday to Kefalonia, and headed for the restaurant we had eaten at before, during our last visit in 2005. Sadly, it wasn't open - so we wandered along the harbour to Elli's at the far end. We were only there for lunch - but what a delight! Proper cloth napkins, and cutlery in cloth cases. Quality glasses and crockery. I opted for the Caeser Salad, which was huge, delicious and the best I have ever tasted. My partner had the Club Sandwich, which was pronounced 'very good indeed' and had a good portion of home made chips. Elli's also serve excellent coffee, not the usual Nescafe you get in Greece! Service was efficient, friendly and attentive. Pity we were just 'passing through', it would have been nice to have dinner there. Well worth a visit, highly recommended. (The ladies loos are great too!).
