We stayed at the apartments last week of August and have to say we were surprised at how lovely the accommodation is due to the very reasonable price we paid for our holiday.
The apartment we stayed in is on the top floor with amazing views right across the resort of Paleo. The apartments are very clean, well equipped but at the same time very typical of Greek accommodation.
The walk up to Fotinis is very steep and making the climb in the heat is not very pleasant but the view once you are there is well worth it. Fotinis is so relaxing, with a lovely clean pool and plenty of sun beds for everyone to use. The apartments are quiet and ideal if you are looking to sit back, read, sunbath, relax and take in the beauty of Paleo. The snack bar restaurant is run by Fotini and her sister Karina. They are both lovely and friendly and always willing to answer any questions or help in anyway they can. The food and drinks are reasonably priced and we always had nice food when we ate there. If you get the chance to go to the Greek night that they put on, do! It really is a fantastic night. All the family gets involved, including the girls father who is in BBQ duty. The Greek dancing is brilliant and I have no idea where the girls got there energy from to work all day and then put on a great evening and fabulous performance of a night.
Eating out in Paleo is a delight. We didn't have a single bad meal in any of the restaurants and we made a point of eating somewhere different every night. I have to say our favourite restaurant was Nerads. The food was lovely and the atmosphere was romantic and laid back.
My boyfriend was not really looking forward to this holiday as it was me that booked it, chose where we were staying and when he found out how much we had paid I think he was quite nervous. He is also not one to go back to somewhere once he has been there but even he has agreed that we will be going back and that it was the most relaxing holiday he has ever been on! What can I say, we loved it!

The Fotini main plus point are the stunning views of the surrounding hills and sea from all rooms and its peacful location - don't expect karaoke and bingo. The apartments were very typical Greek budget style and constitute excellent value for money. The pool is sizeable and spotlessly clean and the bar is well equiped offering reasonably priced food and refreshments.

The comment lodged by a previous reviewer about cool showers is attributable to use of solar power to heat the water, accordingly don't expect hot water first thing in the morning: any other time this problem disappears.

It is well documented about the steep acces to the Fotini, however you do get to use to it as the holiday progresses. However I must admit that on arrival, at midnight, it was daunting prospect to negotiate the steep incline after a long and tiring journey. May I make this suggestion to the owners that it would improve the holiday experience if a lift was offered to new arrivals in the vehicle they use to transport cases from the road to the complex. A bottle of water placed in each room for new arrivals would also have been most welcome.

The resort of Paleokasritsa is stunnigly beautiful. There are many coves offering good bathing. My favourote location was La Grotta which offers bathing from rocks, crystal clear waters providing tremendous scuba opportunities and diving off cliff ledges. There are numerous reasonably priced restaurants, particularly those in close proximity to the Fotini

Overall the complex was excellent and the small criticisms I have offered in no way detracted from a memorable holiday. I would unhesitatingly recommend the Fotini and the resort of Paleo.

We had the loveliest relaxing holiday here on a budget, just what we wanted. The rooms are clean and there was always hot water if we showered before 8pm. The staff are helpful and very friendly. The pool is clean and the water is warm. As the apartments sits on a steep hill, it really isn't for unfit guests. But if you don't mind a 5 min uphill walk a few times a day, it's well worth it for the gorgeous views. Don't miss out on the donkey trail that leads up to the next village (with a bit of walking on the road) and is approximatley a 30-40 minute uphill walk that will take you the top of the mountain and was a very pleasant evening walk finished of with a drink at the top.

The apartments are on a hillside which means they have marvellous views and are peaceful. It is a few minutes walk uphill to reach them but well worth the effort. The property is very well looked after by Fotini and her family who are friendly and work hard to make sure you have an enjoyable stay.
The pool area is clean and attractive and the same goes for the bar and restaurant. We stayed on the third floor (which is the top floor). The views were even more stunning from there. The apartment was airy and equiped with all the basics. The balcony was big enough to sit comfortably.
We will definately stay there again.

Room Tip: Take your own bath towels.

This place is amazing what more can I say. Fotini and her family run this complex and they are all lovely. They work so hard from dusk till dawn. A big thankyou to her dad spiros who took me and my husband out on his boat which was a fantastic end to the holiday. The view from the apartment was amazing. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. The food at the pool bar was gorgeous. Overall this holiday was fantastic and relaxing. I would recommend this complex to everyone. Thanks again fotini and your family for a fantastic holiday. We will be back again next year.
