This was my first visit to any Greek island and I absolutely fell in love with Paleokastrsa, Corfu. The Acapulco Bar is a good 20 minutes walk for main Palekastritsa, but my God well worth the walk. My friends have been staying in the apartments there for 13 years, which speaks for it's self. The owners restaurant Elia and a well stocked supermarket with a cash machine is only 5 minutes away. The views from the Acapulco bar are breathtaking and it is such a chill out place just to do nothing, other than swim, sun bathe or read, so I would not recommend staying there with children, as they will get bored, but OK for a day visit. You can walk down lots of steps to the sea (no beach) to go swimming, snorkelling or even hire a boat from the owners. The owners and staff are very friendly and helpful and the Bar food is very good. I was sad to leave and will definitely be back.

This most be one of the most wonderful places i have ever been. You walk done through the woods and emerge to an oasis. This has simply the most stunning settings ever. Food and drink very reasonably prices too.

The Acapulco has one of the nicer pool bars in Paleokastritsa, not far from the aris supermarket. The views are lovely, the sunbeds comfortable and plenty, the pool could be cleaner though and it does have a diving board (with a no diving sign). The food and drink was reasonable , I ate there twice at lunchtime, sandwiches around €4, pizza, omelettes around €7 soft drinks €2 and beer around €3 so reasonably priced. Not the best food I had on my holiday but fairly priced for a meal with use of the pool area, wifi etc.

The Acapulco was 250meters from the Elena Apartments next door to the campsite where we stayed for a week. The pool at the apartments was lovely but did not have a bar. We took the short walk down the dirt track next to Georges bike hire and landed in paradise, greeted by polite, warm, friendly and helpful staff Lina (a charming young woman who does the cooking, loves a chat when she isn't busy) and Jamie (a grand young lad from just up the road, Hebburn who does his parents proud), along with the lovely Georgia and Spiros our hosts at Elia who also own the Acapulco. Try the lovely comfy sunbeds, super comfy seating along a grassed terrace or sit again on comfy bamboo garden table and chairs near the bar sip a delicious freshly squeezed orange juice or cool beer accompanied by views to die for of Liapais bay. The well prepared snacks e.g. omelettes cheese and ham toasties, stuffed/sweet pancake, crisp salads or homemade chips along with the usual burger, bacon or sausage bun are served with cheerful, friendly banter.
We spent whole days just whiling away the hours reading, swimming in the lovely pool, lazing on the sunbeds, sitting on comfy well padded seats looking out to sea or catching up on the internet (free access a God send for our teenager), peppered with a spot of snorkelling in the crystal clear sea about 70 steps down and regular cool drinks and snacks, heaven which restores both body and soul. We were often surprised to find that we had been there about 5 - 6 hours and would have just one more cold drink or coffee before the short walk back to what we referred to as home for our short 7 day stay. Thanks to all for making us feel so welcome and at home, hope to see you all again next year. Hello to all the other holiday makers we met the relaxed atmosphere aided socialising among the visitors..

We love the Acapulco so much we have returned to Paleo. 10 or 11 times ( I have lost count ) The views are stunning from this pool bar, the pool is clean and never crowded, comfortable sun beds and a well stocked bar, what more could you ask for? The lunch time snacks are perfect to keep you going until the evening when you can enjoy a beautifully cooked meal at the Elia which is ran by the same friendly family, Georgina and Spiros ( the owners ) make you feel so welcome in a way that only Greek people can. Please dont miss a visit to the Acapulco whilst at Paleokastriksta and i guarantee you will be back.
