Hi, We arrived at the apartments around 11:00. To get there you need to walk a very sharp hill (around 200m). It was a challenge for myself (33years old) to carry the luggage to the room. The elders need to consider this, as you will have to walk it every day. We had a room upstairs with a very nice view over the sea. Another benefit is that the balcony is in shade so you don’t have to melt in the sun when you use it. The rooms downstairs have view to a very beautiful garden so choose wisely is you want to climb some more steps to have the sea view. The plus on the Noufaro apartments location: there is a market right at the base of the hill.

The lady host was very nice and positive and willing to help.

The room was cleaned before we entered. It was not cleaned during the 7 nights we’ve been there. You need to bring your own soap, dish washer liquid, toilet paper, towels (the towels have not been changed during the 7 nights there). To be honest I didn’t liked the bathroom, I didn’t felt safe, hygienically speaking, I had to assist my 5years old child every time she used the toilet. The AC was available under a cost. We used it and it worked fine, except for the noise. Something I didn’t liked was the announcements sticked on every fence and trees which I found it as unequal treatment based on nationality.

On the presentation it is described a 150m distance to the beach, it is longer than that and the walk is on the street, no sidewalk is available.
Things I suggest you to visit: The Grotta –down the hill take right, you will find it on the way to the beach. The view is amazing, you can swim there, sit at the restaurant, do jumps into the sea from the cliff, snorkel. The monastery in Paleokastritsa –even if you are much of a prayer, still worth to visit it for its beauty. We loved it –make sure you visit all of it, it has some passages hidden. As places to eat: Spiros (the location is in front of Mermaid villa, take left when you leave Noufaro apartments, the food is amazing and a lot and at the end they always offered the dessert on the house (chocolate pancakes). Places to buy souvenirs – the shop close to Spiros tavern, the gentlemen there always gave extra presents for free –he insisted even to choose something.
If you go with an agency, they will offer tours, on the island, on the water. We bought 4 out of 5, the one I like the most was the Courfu Tour – be aware the lunch time break will be after 3pm. On the boat trips- for those who have movement sick, car sick, take the pill they offer when you go on the boat. And also bring some special bags for vomiting just in case, the ones they offer are not good . I had sea sick while visiting the Blue caves )). For those who will go on the boat tours, take a life vest and go into the water, when you’ll have the chance, you will not regret it!
On the boat tours, you will have the chance to walk on small islands. Don’t go to the expensive restaurants on Port, instead find a gyros boutique, is 2 euros the portion and is extremely tasty. Also there are pastries shops where you can taste a little bit of Greece traditional food.
We enjoyed Paleokastrista and the tours we’ve had I definitely recommend it.

Room tip: Rooms upstairs- better view. Room downstairs- easier to access.

Although the villa has a gorgeous view, we didn't had any soap, we had the same towels all 8 days and nobody really cleaned our room, unless you can consider taking the trash "cleaning". The check out hour was the biggest dissapoinment. You can't be in this business and pretend you don't have enough time to clean the rooms unless you force your previous clients to leave at 8:00 in the morning.

The apartment is in a great location and in one of the most beautiful part of Corfu. The apartment was clean and comfortable. The staff is great, the place is very clean and and Katherina's cakes are amazing. Car rental advisable.

Arrival at the place was super relaxed, a hand written welcome note and a key in the door. Beware: there are some very steep stairs to climb. No big deal, but maybe some elderly people might mind.

The little apartment has a little kitchen with mini stove and oven and a small balcony. The wifi connection is quite slow, but the AC was working very well.

The place is slightly out of town; it's not as crowded and a slightly cheaper than down in town, still there are some beaches within a few minutes walking distance. There are many super markets everywhere, but there is also one right at the door step.

Generally we really enjoyed staying here, especially for the affordable price there were few compromises! The lady even brought some fresh donuts in the morning.

Room tip: The rooms upstairs probably have a nicer view.

The location of Noufaro Apartments is quite good - 10-15 minutes walk to Paleokastritsa center and also is very close to mini markets.
You have to climb some steps to get to the apartments.
The rooms at ground level are very good because they have access to the garden.
Some rooms don't have AC.
The rooms ware clean but could get better.
The garbage was taken at 2 days.
The bathroom was clean. It was a little problem with the pluming - the bathtub didn't drain quite good.
All rooms had the basic amenities for self catering and a fridge (a noise one).
Although it was advertised that the rooms had hairdryer, we had to request it to the owner.
The owner or the stuff was't present on the premises - we rarely saw them.
I wasn't happy that on the last day we were required to leave the rooms at 09.00 in the morning.

Room tip: Room no. 6 ground floor no AC, the other rooms had one.
